Free MCBoot hangs when launching anything from it's menu.

The title explains it all.
Browser and System Config works but when launching the FMCB config or uLaunchELf, it does a weird screen glitch and hangs for an infinite amount of time. Here is a video of it happening: https://youtube.com/shorts/ztox9xgt1-4?feature=share

Do i maybe need to downgrade versions or anything?

FMCB Version: 1.966
PS2: SCPH-79003 (Slim)
Tried Reinstalling: Yes
Memory Card: Official MagicGate 8MB (1.2MB Left)

Conflict with modchip. Version 1.8b and 1.8c should works fine, for some people version 1.953, for others 1.965, for some even none from 1.9xxx line - depend of modchip.

I forgot to include that it's installed with FreeDVDBoot and on an unmodified Slim. I will try to downgrade tho.

If FMCB 1.966 is not altered (I never saw any hacked FMCB past 1.8) and all executables which You trying to launch aren't compressed by some strange packers (I know only one and no one ever use it in released executables), then on all unmodified PS2s it works. It is known issue if 1.9xx line related to modchips and their dirty memory patches. However, I read few times similar reports about black screen, so maybe there is some unknown factor? However, FMCB is no longer in development - project is frozen or dead, so You don't have much choice as trying different versions (start from 1.8b).

Downgrading worked. I now use 1.955
