**Before you ask, we didn't include OPL because we want you to pick the version you want to use. Grab the latest version of OPL from the official github, or grab a recommended version or fork from here. We recommend 1.2.0 Beta 2049 or 1.2.0 MMCE Beta 2. It is always recommended to back up your card's data before installation of any exploit software.
About Free McTuna - OpenTuna Installer,
Free McTuna OpenTuna Installer provides a seamless FMCB experience, with no outdated apps or bloat. Run the installer, and you're ready to go as if you had FMCB! Add your favorite apps with the included wLaunchELF and Free McBoot Configurator, such as Open PS2 Loader or Simple Media System.
1. Takes you to FMCB Decrypted after executing OpenTuna Exploit (Entering PS2 Browser, Browsing Memory Card, backing back out to main PS2 Menu) via PS2BBL as mc?:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF launched by OpenTuna.
2. BOOT.ELF is PS2BBL, allowing you to map different apps on boot or launch-keys. Also allows you to get to any app from hard set exit paths of mc?:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF in apps like SMS or GSM.
3. BOOT2.ELF is wLaunchELF_isr-EXFAT to offer a stable, lightly modified, ready to use flavor of wLE. You can replace BOOT2.ELF with any wLE version you prefer.
4. ESR.ELF is ESR Launcher, so you can read ESR Patched Discs from FMCBD without manual setup.
5. FMCBD versions are all in their own folders on the memory card - allowing you to "downgrade" if needed. By default, it OpenTuna's PS2BBL will try to launch 1.966, 1.953, and finally 1.8C. If the defaulted 1.966 works out of the box for you, you can delete the other versions.
6. Free McBoot Configurator is in its own folder (SYS_FMCB-CFG)
7. Settings get their own folder and already have BDMA applied for exFAT USB compatibility. (SYS-CONF)
8. BOOT folder only contains BOOT, BOOT2, ESR Launcher, and CONFIG.INI.
How To Install FMCB OpenTuna,
All you need to do is download and run the installer .elf file from the releases page on your PS2.
If you have access to wLaunchELF, you can run the installer elf from there.
If you are unmodded, you'll need to use another exploit like FreeDVDBoot (FDVDB) or otherwise to gain access to wLaunchELF or another ELF launcher and launch the FMCB OpenTuna Installer ELF file.

I have only tested it on PCSX2 and my FAT SCPH39001, but it appears to be working just fine.
This is part of a larger project and will continue to receive updates that may change the icons, configurations, or other QoL changes.
With these FMCB OpenTuna installations, users can change what boots from OpenTuna by updating the PS2BBL's BOOT.ELF configuration file (mc?:/BOOT/CONFIG.INI) with a text editor or wLaunchELF's built in text editor. (FIle Browser -> MISC -> Text Editor -> R1 -> Open -> mc?:/ -> BOOT/ -> CONFIG.INI)
This file determines where we land from OpenTuna's launch of BOOT.ELF (PS2BBL).
FMCBD was chosen to create a universal centralized experience between exploits, and is the default with these installers. If you don't want FMCB, you can update your CONFIG.INI as stated - and once confirmed working, delete FMCB-<version>/ folder from MC or PS2 Browser.
Planning on modifying KELFBinder and FMCB Installer to fit the same format, coming soon.
Would love some feedback.

Special thanks to @El_isra (all his code and input, revolutionary ps2bbl app, providing decrypted elfs, and taking the time to save mine) @HWNJ (providing the already existing OpenTuna BOOT/BOOT.ELF version psus, ESRr10f, and his other work on pieces used in this project) @_korax_ and FMCB team (For original and updated icons) @Berion for his endless assistance and involvement in the many projects, including the FMCB Display settings @TnA for his patience, solid vision, and guidance as I try to learn how to do these things along the way. And of course, the original Tuna teams for their breakthrough work making this all possible. @pcm720 and @bucanero for working with me and ps2dev environment setup.
If I forgot you, tell me - I am beyond grateful to all who have helped me along the way in learning how to do these things.

Updated installers.
* MODCHIP Version now includes POWEROFF.ELF for FMCBD 1.953 as a separate application.
* Made the startup screen of the installer include all the logos for a clear representation of what is going to be installed. (Still need to update the other screens)
* Refined FMCB Configuration to include commonly mapped applications and paths for the majority of setups by default.
* Removed MANUAL Installation files - too redundant when updating to update each PSU. When finished with updates, I will reupload the .psu Manual Installations to the source. You can still find the OpenTuna .psu files in the OpenTuna Standalone Installer branch/release.

Planned changes:
* Finish installer graphical changes. (No affect on installations)
* Add additional applications mapped by default in FMCB Configuration.
* Incorporate feedback (If I get any?)

Can you take a picture of your memory card's contents?
the config.ini should, as a last effort, boot OSDSYS and thus not ever hang or reach "end of execution."
This sounds like a conflicting existing configuration file.

EDIT:
Are you holding a button when launching FMCB?
All you need to do is exit the memory card screen - no keys necessary.

No, i am not holding any button when im exiting the memory card screen its just when i do the normal x, x, o, o (browser --> memory card icon --> exit memory card icon --> exit memory card screen) sequence for the first try is when it starts giving me the "end of execution" error and "config.ini not found".

However, I found something out, when i do a specific sequence: x, x, o, x, o, o, it glitches out and the ps2 needs to be restarted, and in the second try, i do the normal "x, x, o, o" sequence and it will work.

I attached the contents of my memory card in this link:

let me know if you want to see something specific in my memory card!

So this is a unique report.
Can you open
mc?:/BOOT/CONFIG.INI
with a text editor, wlaunchelf's is fine, and tell me what the launch paths are? A photo would likely work too.

EDIT:
I wonder if there was enough free space for the installation? Just a thought - but perhaps the files did not fully copy over. I haven't been able to recreate the issue on my end without deleting mc?:/BOOT/CONFIG.INI

Keep your boot folder as it is :)
I put OPL in mc?:/APP_OPL/OPL.ELF
Another common one is mc?:/OPL/OPNPS2LD.ELF

Now keep in mind, your new folders won't have icons so they will appear as corrupted data in the ps2 browser.
I'll add an apps folder for users in my update for those that prefer that setup.
For now, you'd probably get the best result with:
mc?:/OPL/OPNPS2LD.ELF
This way when you launch it, it will create an icon here with saving settings.

Download the OPL of your choice.
If it's an .elf file, rename it and place it.
If it's a .psu file, "PSUpaste", not paste, it to the root of the memory card to install.

It should automatically show up on FMCB if I did my job right.
If not, you'll need to map it with FMCB Configurator after you have installed it.

You're not asking too much at all! I can walk you through it. For readers in the future, all they need to figure out is:

1. Download the .psu or .elf of your choice Open PS2 Loader version to a fat32 or exfat (thanks to bdma) USB drive. (32kb cluster)
2. Launch wLaunchELF with the USB plugged into your PS2
3. in wLaunchELF, access the USB by going to Filebrowser -> mass:/ -> and find your file.
4. With R1, copy the .elf or .psu and then use Triangle to go back to the device list
5. Access the memory card you want to add it to.
6. IF PSU - Press R1 -> PSUPASTE, to unpack the .psu as its own folder on the memory card with the files already assembled inside.
7. IF .ELF - Find a folder or create a folder on the memory card for your .ELF file to reside in. Many users use mc?:/APPS/ or mc?:/OPL/
I personally enjoy SAS Format, so I use mc?:/APP_OPL/
8. Now access FMCB Configurator in mc?:/SYS_FMCBCFG/FMCBCFG.ELF
9. This is where you would want some specifics on how to run FMCB Configurator.

You'll pick your controls, I always choose X.
Then you'll navigate to "Configure OSDSYS options..."
Then move down to "Configure Item 1: "
You can assign it to any entry that is taken or empty, it will make sense to you.To change the Item you're configuring just go left or right.
When finished, go to the bottom and select Return.
Then select "Save CNF to MC0" if slot 1, "Save CNF to MC1" if slot 2.

Yes, there are two discords I recommend.

i'Ve a ps2 slim 90004 with bios 220 so that it can autoboot into FMCB. I've already installed your package - thanks for that :) - and wonder if there is a simple way to replace Tuna with FMCB which mimics a systemupdate to autboot FMCB on powering up the console.

I don't quite understand the question.
I can't remember if the cutoff for System Update Exploits is rom 2.20 or 2.30
But regardless, if you have a rom version that allows system update exploits then you'd be better off just installing regular FMCB and skipping the Tuna completely.
