oh damn ok i see ok will check the other console, the guy actually came to collect it cause i just replaced his laser.I will ask him to come back.I will post the rom when i log on.But in both consoles?
The console where Funtuna worked has ROM v1.90, the frozen one has ROM v1.70. Anyway, soon FunTuna will work on almost every fat console thanks to OpenTuna, including your v1.70 50004.the machine is a scph 50004,and it freezes on another machine the exact model scph 50004
should i rather install original free mcboot, but i want funtuna to work on it.as it worked on all the others of the same model
thanks for this so before i install i will see debug info first as funtuna will only work on 190 versions of that console.when i get the machine back i will look at therom version. If the rom is a 190 then we got some other issue...lol.The console where Funtuna worked has ROM v1.90, the frozen one has ROM v1.70. Anyway, soon FunTuna will work on almost every fat console thanks to OpenTuna, including your v1.70 50004.
Update to latest version.
Implement automatic update on release workflow
Hello.
I have currently FunTuna installed from 30 Aug 2020 on my PAL 90004 PS2. I want to know what's diff. between this fork and FunTuna? THAN-Q
HI!Hello
How can I update using the newest version of funtuna ? Showing by video pls. ?
Thanks for replyHI!
I think that no one made a tutorial in english.
AFAIK only two youtube tutorials where made, and both are in spanish.
however, if you know how to use uLaunchELF you can install it easily without issues
In this site I found what I need , it's so usefull .
The title explains everything...
- Installer will read your console ROM version to calculate Opentuna variant needed by your PS2
- If installer can't find OPL/conf_opl.cfg on target memory card It will write icons and config files to the OPL folder
- Manual install package was reorganized
BXEXEC-OPENTUNA folder will contain a file called icon.cnf
This file will contain a small text string identifying wich consoles are...
Now the installer will cleanup the target memory card on it's own
more specifically:
it will delete the following folders:
- OPENTUNA (to void issues)
- FORTUNA (to void issues)
- BOOT (ensure clean installation)
- APPS (ensure clean installation)
- BXEXEC-OPENTUNA (ensure clean installation)
- BXEXEC-FUNTUNA (to void issues)
Now the user can choose between manual or automatic installation
Manual = will allow you to choose Wich opentuna varíant you want to install (the one that works on the console running the installer will shine in light blue)
Automatic = the usual install method, will load opentuna needed by the console.
