thanks, but I'd like to do this on my own. I figure it's in Tantengel, because two or three npcs mention it. in fact, there's a person in the dungeon, behind a locked door, who said he had a dream where it was in his possession, but I need to bring light to the underworld with the sphere of light. that's why I think they're related.

I've been talking with a friend over pm since last year. he knows I don't like hints too. ;) he's the one I got into dragon quest xi or rather the dragon quest series. he hasn't played the original trilogy...YET! :-P

Laters!

I don't like being stuck either. I've been stuck multiple times in bloodstained. now, I have no clue where to go at about 80%. the game has gotten majorly boring because of that. that's why I stopped playing axiom verge. it just got tiresome with no clues. the clues you do get in bloodstained -- you had better write them down, because an npc is unlikely to repeat him or herself.

Games that aren't intuitive tend to be like that. That's why I prefer to play the more straightforward cinematic ones like I'm just gonna do now .
Uncharted FTW.
I haven't got back to Last of Us because of my past save busted file and I'm trying to forget what happened in the game because I'll have to start all over again.

I've played uncharted a bit but not much. I do like games with puzzles though, 'cause figuring things out is rewarding. that's why I don't like hints that aren't in the game or looking up how to pass something. I feel that ruins the fun. I used to look things up back during the playstation 1 days (even got a guide book for ff vii), but when I went through ffvii this time on the switch, I didn't look anything up, and I had forgotten almost everything. I was stuck in that gas chamber room with tifa in ffvii 'til I figured out you could do two commands at once. I'm playing these old school games, because they're more straight forward (i.e. simple gameplay mechanics than stuff where you've forgotten how to play the game if you take a break).

Thats why i got rid of silent hill downpour.
At start its ok but soon as you come into town oh man i hated it.
No clues about anything.
Fock that shit xD

I was typing on phone , forgot to reply to what you've said here.

That shit happens to me also! I dislike games that have real complicated commands and most of the time when you take a break that's true , you come back to it and you're like oh what's the command for this or that. XD

Like I said , to me games that are intuitive work best with me so that way , you just don't forget.

Catch ya later 'n keep in FONKY! XD

it's kinda sad when some people say a game is too short only to find out that they used walkthrough. of course, it's short then. I have 35-40 hours in dq 3, but at least 10 of those hours were wandering aimlessly, searching for clues. I mean people can play through their games any way they want, but it seems like a weird thing to gripe about when you removed all challenge from the game.

Same here I hate having to use walkthroughs unless it's one of those crappy games where you're real stuck. But in that case the game's really not that good. Real gamers should know how to beat a game without that kinda thing , I was ace back then in 8-16bit days.
No walkthroughs , no cheats , limited lives and all that shizzle.
You die you start from the start.
Hardcore.

Havin' a break of Uncharted. So far pretty good!
Love way Naughty Dog kept same control scheme as Last Of Us. 5*

this is an old school game, so it's understandable. there have been numerous times where what you needed was hidden on the ground. kinda cheap really. check this out:
I found the lyre of ire at a person's house. it was hidden on the floor right next to a chest. I only knew to search that location, 'cause the owner of lyre said he didn't bring the lyre with him due to monsters being attracted to it (it was at his parents' house). I don't know how I found that one, kinda confusing, 'cause an exclamation point will appear over your head for things you can search, talk, open, etc., so it could've been referring to the chest. I have no idea what to do with the item. the guy won't accept it, and it brings monsters to you if you use it on the overworld.

Another one for you to find out mate! haha! XD
Think you found that Lyre item by intuition as I mentioned before btw huhu XD_b

good luck XD

I have the cartridge of that game. I played it on my retron 5. I'm stuck in the third dungeon of the dark world. it's the one where you go back and forth with the dungeon and some forest.

I beat oot on the 3ds. I remember the water temple, but it wasn't as difficult as it was the first time many years before. I think that's the place where most people get stuck in that game. not sure about a link to the past. I also beat a link between worlds. I don't remember that gaming being very hard.

Link to the past has a dungeon or someshit of somesort in the dark world where ya gotta use some levers to alter the water flow so ya can get past the other side.

As for me guess it's time I get playing The Last Of Us.
Played a bit of Uncharted but it's much lighter mood (Over 15) and I want some hard shit (Mature) now.
