I beat new luigi u a few weeks ago. I don't have all the star coins though. I'm missing a lot, because my focus was just beating the game, so that I could save anywhere.

I've been playing breath of fire of the super nintendo collection on the switch. it's still one of my favorite games. I'm on lv 21 atm. iirc, the lowest I've ever been when beating the game is lv 26. I remember very little about most of the game. that's how it was with final fantasy vii.

I beat breath of fire from nintendo online today. I got stuck very briefly in two places. I had beaten the game before, but I had forgotten quite a bit. I remembered where the Emperor Sword was, but I couldn't remember where the best dragon was, so I got the bad ending.

I also got 3 stars in new super luigi u. that's for completing all regular stages and getting all of their star coins. some of them are a pita to get especially with 100 seconds on the clock for each stage.

I found the final dragon form in breath of fire.

I just had to read the slab item. it said something about purifying water, so I had a feeling it would be the water which uncursed the people of one of the villages. after getting the dragon, Agni, I beat the last boss again. she turns into her true form, but she's easy as hell with the dragon taking 999 out each turn. I got the good ending then. :D

I'm on 9-4 in new luigi u. the stages aren't impossible, but there's a lot of trial and error keeping your eyes on the lookout for star coins while also beating stages.

started playing final fantasy x again. god, I hate blitzball, and I haven't even been in a match. I think I'm about to do one though, and I dread it.

I also beat all the robots in mega man 9. mega man 10 seems to be harder, since I haven't beaten any of the robots (played only two stages so far, and I got to the boss in one of them). I beat all the robotos in one of those two games on the wii, but I can't remember which.

I didn't know this 'til just know (reading the news bulletin on the switch regarding rpgs with anime characters), but star ocean first departure r was released for the system a couple months ago. it's about $20, so I bought it. it's downloading at this very moment. :D

apparently, I've played star ocean before. it's on my psp. I remember nothing about the game. however, it shows 13 hours at level 60. could it be that short? I thought about buying oceanhorn, but I heard that was 8 hours. though, a review on temp said octopath traveler was like 45 hours. my original save had like 110 hours on my last chapter 4. I see no way of beating the game that fast. you'd be massacred if you just plowed through it. btw, bought animal crossing. it comes with an online trial. online trial? I think it's just for nso (nintendo switch online), which is odd, because it says you need a subscription for it to work. wtf!?

looks like it says you can't redeem it (nso trial) actually if you have an active account. I don't know. it's kinda strange.

edit: I might give it away since I already have a subscription. can't use the code 'til:
Your Nintendo Switch Online trial code can be redeemed starting March 19, 2020 at 9:00 PM

I've started playing odyssey again. I found about 15 power moons these past two days. I've also started mega man x6. that's one of the saves that was lost. the game is kinda a nightmare excuse the pun. :-P

up to date, mega man x6 (perfect save) and odyssey 821 power moons and climbing. right now, I'm trying to buy all the costumes, which is boring as hell.

831+ power moons in odyssey, trying to get the hellish power moon in darker side of the moon. I can get to the fireball section, then I end up dying. I think I've figured it out (when to jump), but I turned it off before trying a second time. I can get there without getting hit. that's like the fourth section.

I bought rayman legends on the switch despite having it for the wii u. it's a pretty good game. it reminds me more of yooka laylee and the impossible lair rather than mario or dkc. I got it on sale for $9.99. it's back up to $39.99, so you could say I did okay. :D

Snagged Spyro: Reignited on the xbone last night for $13.99—Jumped right into Spyro 2—The graphics are pretty damn nice, not a fan of the cutscenes and some of the new character voices (Hunter primarily lmao.) The score is good, glad they included the original score as well. Gameplay itself is nice but I really prefer the PSX feel. Was worried this trilogy would ruin the original trio for me—don't think that will be the case—biggest gripe is the redone cutscenes / dialogue.

Also been playing "Rise of the Tomb Raider" — Having a hard time getting "in" to it, but I'm definitely enjoying it more than TR2013. Might snag "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" while its still on sale just for the hell of it.

I am playing the 3d all stars mario game. I no longer use tutorials, so I'm stumped on the first yoshi shine. I love it though. I have an idea that I haven't unlocked yoshi or something, so I'll try that or just skip over him.
