@atreyu187 , that's a damn fine selection. I actually have the grandia soundtrack on my phone. Ys 1 and 2 chronicles - I beat the original book 1 and 2 on the turbo grafx cd attachment. my grandfather and I were playing it together. I remember he wouldn't play the game at all unless I was spending the night at his house. we had to call the help line several times, mostly in Darm Tower. he passed before we beat the game though, so as an adult I went through the whole game many times. it may be my favorite game of all time. I still own the turbo grafx we used too. it works as long as u get it warmed up. it's what made me fall in love with rpgs. well, that and dragon warrior 1 which was free with a subscription to Nintendo Power. lol ;)

I have it on my DUO-RX and I have an RGB modded Super Grafx as well. The PC Engine was ahead of it's time. I got it mainly for Splatterhouse which is still tough as nails.

But it pales in comparison to the FM Towns version. That game set me back about $300 if I recall correctly. Japan had all the amazing systems ahead of their time. I still plug in my FM Towns for Truxton and Splatterhouse a few times a year as well as my DUO-RX. The 6 button pads are great but the three button pads are a must for Dracula X as pressing the run button for items is gawky at best.

The three button makes that game so much fun. I don't use my original often as I like the translation and running via RGB simply looks stunning. Been meaning to update my flash card as I still have the crappy tototek card, the everdrive card is great. I like being able to change the system cards via a ROM over buying them.

Some games like Altered Beast don't work using system card 3.0/3.1 or even the Arcade Card. But flash v1.0 ROM to the cart and plays flawlessly. I usually only use three cards, my flash cart, tenkoh bank (for saves) and New Adventure Island. My God I want to pull out my PC ENgine now!!

Edit

The reason why I posted LOL simply replace your caps and it will work fine. I had to do that to mine. I got it before the online store got liquidation happened some years back and prices went through the roof. Also have you ever tried the CD made that loads hi card games vis the CD attachment?

I once tried an snes emulator on the turbo grafx. I forgot the guy's name who made it, but I played american gladiators, and I couldn't stop laughing at how shitty it was. lmao! several games on the disc didn't even work. I think ys iv requires the 3.0 card while games like sapphire require 4.0, arcade style. have u ever played it or listened to the music:

that's pretty impressive since this is before the ps1.

btw, I never got a copy of sapphire. it costs like $400 on ebay, but I have played a burned copy of it.

btw, if u like that music, try out download 2 where u fight hitler's brain. lmao. it's another classic. I've gotten to the last boss in that, but I couldn't figure out how to damage him.

if u want to see something awesome, check out the jdk band on youtube. yep, ys, sapphire, legend of heroes, etc is made with real instruments. it's some amazing shit. sega also has a band that's amazing.

I only have a few original titles as most are freaking nutz in price but there is a rom hack Splatterhouse called Chrome. I hate it so much I love it. Game is truly hard as can be. It uses the US game as a base but removed Rick's ugly pink mask that the US version had. Why oh why did they do that? But yea Sapharrie is amazing, for shmups the system can't be beat. There is a Lord's of Thunder hybrid disc out there that works on the Sega CD and Turbo Duo.

even remixed it's worse. u have to admit that.

my favorite song is the subterranean canal one. that's where u find those refugees.

edit: four or five of these songs r in the last stage. very awesome stuff.

LOL so I got a game today for free via a voucher and I can't stop playing. Surprising little gem called plants vs zombies. The only "cell phone" game I have ever enjoyed but it's on the Vita. A friend of mine sent it to me as he won it on Listia but doesn't own a Vita. Truly a fun little piece of softwsre and a welcome break from Dark Souls 3 I needed

I have that game on either the ps3 or the 360 I believe. I lost all my 360 games when my hdd failed. however, I did save my dlc, xblig, and xbla games. it should be a part of the xbla games. I have nearly 600 of them, and I've been building databases (uploading them here and temp) that allow u to compare games on both systems. I suggested that to @aldostools - the app I mean through a second party whom I assume told him - which I think is doable with content ids. u can use container ids on the 360 which is what it uses through microsoft's own servers. lol

Could not imagine this without touch controls. Was a small game as I grabbed it via tether as our internet is disabled at this house.

that's what I love about kirby and the rainbow paint brush. I couldn't imagine that game without touch controls. however, a lot of people complained that u had to look at the gamepad while playing since the gamepad only displays at 480p. I think the switch's gamepad is 720p, but who cares really if the game is fun?

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is great online on the ps4, still play it. Didn't like the second one though.

I'll have to give it a go as I am really hooked on this one. Never gave it a thought as it was a cell game and I haven't ever enjoyed one.

As for gfx I'm not to bad when it comes to them but I am guilty of wanting the best video I can get outta a system. Like I couldn't imagine playing my Megadrive with composite let alone RF. I shudder thinking about it.

Recently finished

Fatal Frame 5 / boring, not too scary and titties and titties
Walking Dead S3 - The new frontier / if you're tired of games, just play this for the story telling.
Zelda - BOTW / Highly recommended even if you're not a fan of Zelda including myself
Dead Rising 4 / I just couldn't focus on the story, and boring repetitive missions. not recommended
Nier : Automata / Not bad

Currently Playing

Prey / Nicely optimized graphics, but the battle doesn't seem fun , heard its ending sucks but still be playing regardless
Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition / basic and still fun to play with friends
Street Fighter 5 / I really suck at combos, but guess it's fine.
The Crash bandicoot - N.Sane trilogy / Nice graphics! and still fun.

Skyrim AtM on PS3 ofc
EDIT: I also play GT6 and Watch Dogs on PS3
Im also fooling around in GTA SA on PC. Godmode and all that.
