yeah im not to worried about it...the app is GREAT so even if it kept doing that I wouldn't care. thanks for putting it out there and for the update!! i've spent hours just experimenting with all the combos and background colors to see what looks best!

if u find one thing u like about one wave/coldboot/gameboot etc and something u like about another, I could swap files if u'd like. it'd give me something to do anyway. I recently modified several files for rebug...trying to get some to use the original playstation button colors after all. I created this image for the particles:

 

well Pinky now that you mention it... :hmmm:

when the coldboots first open, even if you've changed the color theme to lets say blue, the coldboot will still show a different color background, which I believe has something to do with the time day. then after the system starts your color choice kicks in..now I know this has nothing to do with this app but is there a way to change that background of the coldboat right when it starts up?

Also in the theme colors, I believe a long time ago there used to be, but is no longer...a black/dark grey color choice ...now there isn't . any way to add that? I know Im stretching here but just had to ask. I think all these waves and cold boots, waves.. behind a dark theme color like dark grey or black or whatever would sick and I ask because if you look at this vid at the 2:15 mark you'll see the waves look very bright and pronounced and the background is black! and the coldboot has a black background too! it looks insane! its the newer guy to the cfw scene playerkp420

lastly ,.. can you add color to the Zebra wave? maybe that electric blue purple, or orange red...etc sorry man but you asked lol

it's an installable zip, so just double-click the zip file within mm to install it to the right location. I've made all the backgrounds black. I used the zebra wave (didn't touch the settings) to change the colors to electric purple and burnt orange. I also added that particles file.

 

thought it would keep you a bit busier longer! !! Im going to test it out in a bit, im sure it'll be badass!

so here's something I ran into though.. and maybe you or bubba when you have time can maybe look into it...if not its all good, I dont wanna be a pain in the arse!
through multiman , I go into the app's folder XMBMDIFY1/USRDIR/apps/custom coldboots...and there are some there that don't appear within the apps menu choices

These are the folders that are there but not selectable in the menu:

I just copied the list.txt to pc and was comparing it to the app as it was running. maybe people who made them might say "hey wheres mine?"

I hope it's good. I've probably made more waves in the scene than anybody else, so I can make one in less than 3 minutes. optimizing it, on the other hand, takes time. I didn't have to fool with the settings beyond a color change, so it didn't take long at all to hex in the necessary files.

I'm looking into the xorpads thing on the 3ds now. I've finally got it working on a new 3ds :

this is crazy .... the color is unreal its like a bright uber neon! F'n nice!! my camera sux donkey nuts cant even see the particles in it, they're there tho and in person its insane




the zip kept opening up in MM's temp folder... so I just made the right folders in the right places and put the file there, got it to load through the app's menu.

all the xmb's icons are kinda glossy see through and when you select the orange as the theme color , the icons have a gunmetal hue , looks so sick.

So ummm since you said it only takes you like 3 mins huh? heh I may have some requests... and after I test them maybe I can unpack and repack bits app with all them in there and he can check it out and if its all good he can leave em in... just an thought though

ok so leaving everything the same....like the background (the black just makes everything POP), the new particles the same. etc so that will act as a base kinda,

*I'd like to see the zebra in just an all blue, like the blue on the carolina panthers uniforms...not a fan but like that color. So like an "electric" sky blue
*same thing as above, same blue but can you do the electric wave pattern instead like the way B0rekid did them ---> and another one like this with a slightly darker blue fading halfway to a bright neon green like on the seahawks uni's

and can an artic type white background be done...the way you did the black but everything white? because that with the red orange zebra pattern or red orange electric pattern lines that would look FIRE!! both figuratively and literally !

xorpad is slow. I'm almost at 100% for my first game, but it took almost an hour for less than a gig. oh, xenoblade and dq 8 both use 4 gig cards. oi!

yes, an all white can be done. ur correct in the backgrounds do change during the course of the day. I believe the freslut files r responsible for that. they're a chain of colors, rgb, that increase/decrease in depth. the wave, the background, and the particles can be any color u wish. the wave itself can not be more than two colors at one time however. as the colors merge in the middle, u should see a third color that's a combination of both the left and the right portion of the wave. also, the background can affect color as well. when I created a color-changing wave, I changed each mnu to a different left and right color going over the roygbiv color wheel since there r exactly seven instances of coloration in the newer waves while older ones had 10, 11, or 12. the wave still has the same number of mnu, but I generally don't modify the ones that r unique.

 

yeah the all white like you did with the black and then a red and orange wave...nice! I was looking today online as far as making editing the waves and I did remember seeing something about the colors 1-12 and the mnu's. Im in the process of...ummm aquiring photoshop and then I'll get the dds and what not.

I'll test everything with dev blind first to make sure but in thats gonna take a while...I'll take your 3 minute waves in the mean time! :p

if u can hex in a coldboot, creating a wave shouldn't pose any problem. the process is pretty much the same. the only differences r the save settings and the fact that a coldboot script/config file is encoded.
