Games asking to be copied to internal HDD

Hello all,

This is my first post here so I hope I'm not doing anything wrong.

I've just installed custom firmware 4.85 and HEN 3.0 with MultiMAN.

On my PC, I've installed Filezilla, typed PS3 network address and transferred the game folder from my pc to the GAME folder on my PS3.

The game show up on MultiMAN without any issues, but when I try to run it, I get a black screen and MultiMAN closes back to XMB.

When I'm on XMB, I can see the game I've just tried to load like a disc. I select it and run it.

The game runs, but for some reason, it shows a message saying that the game needs to be copied to the internal drive and that's the issue I'm facing it.

Every single tutorial I've seen online shows that the game is copied to PS3, shows up on MultiMAN and runs from there, without any black screens, without going back to XMB and without having to copy a game to the internal HDD that was already there in the first place.

Does anyone has any idea of what's going on?

if you have cfw do not install hen. reinstall cfw to get rid of hen.

which game? which cfw?

also if game is .iso file then it should be in hdd0/ps3iso folder. after you select game in multiman it will go back to xmb and a disc icon will show (like you put in a disc). press x on the disc icon to run game. this is normal. some games will install some files to hdd when they are ran from disc or iso.
