PS3 Gran Turismo 4 issues PS3 HEN

I have a Super Slim Console with PS3 HEN and I lately have used FTP to get Gran Turismo 4 on my console and the game runs however the game always crashes when I try to do certain license tests. I have read that the game needs a config file in order to solve the issue however when I was encrypting the game I went through the process of adding a config file to game and im not sure if the config file is working. I am new to using ps3 hen and any advice on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated. iso version of the game : SCUS97328

Hello I would like to follow up by saying that I did my own research and I managed to solve the issue myself. So I dug up that it was actually my config that was causing the problem (go figure) It was the Custom Config in the Playstation Classics GUI and that one has the freezes still for the American version of the game (SCUS973.28) So what I did was I deleted my old pkg file and went through the process again using the GX config instead. Which fixed my game. Dont give me any credit for this because I actually found a post that described this problem in depth which I will post a link for here.

thanks, just wanted to report that gx doesn't recognize the logitech g27 wheel on ps3, not sure if anything does

I tried gran turismo 4 on a fully bc compatible cecha01, and g27 wheel does seem to work correctly with it (as a driving force gt, like on a physical ps2)

just remember to switch the degree of rotation as needed

[1+2] + O = ~670°
[1+2] + S = ~450°
[1+2] + X = 900° Resets to default
[1+2] + T = ~240°

(It didn't work with a thrustmaster T300GT tho, which is expected as it's not PS2 compatible)
