Did you include some type of txt file containing the SHA-1 hashes of each pkg file so they can be checked before installing on a PS3...? As even in a zip folder some corruption can sometimes happen during download for various reasons.

Yep, a Notepad file with the hashes for each patch will be edited in separately.

You can install them right from the XMB using the Package Installer on your jailbroken system.

Thanks for the zip of these updates. One dumb question...Does the "oldest" 1.06 include all the updates 1.01-1.05? I am running just teh non updated retail version on cfw, can I update from retail version straight to v1.06 and not mess anything up or miss any fixes?

yeah. 1.06 is the "first update". they must be installed in order lowest number to highest number.

Ok, so I have a problem, I downloaded the updates, then I installed the latest one first, when I tried installing the others, it didn't let me, then when I tried to go online, it didn't redirect me to the character creation menu

try installing @Louay 's pkg. I don't have the game, so I haven't tested it, but I downloaded it to add to my ps3 updates collection. it took me about three months to download the entire ps3 update collection, since I have a data cap, and I'm all digital on the switch of which I have three (downloading the same games I buy to each system). anyway, I didn't have much data to play with (maybe 400-500GBs a month) just to dedicate to that. I put the entire collection on two hdds in case one were to fail. I've backed up Louay's consolidated pkg at least once, but it's still in my download folder. I'll have to add it to the updates hdd once I plug one in. however, it's not an actual pkg that exists, so I may leave it where it is. the download folder has basically become my miscellaneous folder.

goto Game Data Utility. if you already ran the game once and it installed the gamedata, then there will be two entries for gta v listed. the installed gamedata is about 8.5 GB. leave it alone. delete the other entry and then install the updates.

Ok, so I did it exactly as you said, now it's says unable to download game data, what could be the problem
