When installing it make sure it goes on the root of your HDD, not in one of the program folders the install path should look like this:

C:\Python2.7 or *:\Python2.7 - replace * with whatever drive letter your installing it to, but the main C drive is the default place to install it to.

EDIT: And be sure to add it to the " PATH " of environment variables. A Python script ".py " will not run on Window's without this unless its been converted and compiled into a " .exe " file for use on Windows where it becomes a " Stand Alone " executable file.

Guys good night i need some help, i try use ps3xplotoit in 2504 console minimul fw downgrade 3.6, my mistake, but i have dump from it before try apply the patch, i rename this dump to bkps3.bin and flashed it in ps3 nor, but console not working. Need try somenting else?

Fixed using dump.hex, and byte reversing with Pypatcher, flowrebuilder don't work for me, tks for awesome tuto
 
Hello everyone....I have a bricked CECH-30xxx from Xploit flash but I also made a backup....I have byte swapped it using Pypatcher and It shows everything 100% ok in PS3 dump checker...my question is do I have to patch it using PS3Dump checker before flashing it?? (it says Pre-Patched=No) because lowest downgradable firmware is 3.66.....any help would be very appreciated....

Use ps3pypatcher with swap command to byte reverse your original dump and flash it

No, don't patch it. Your console is not compatible.
 
Wish I could start a thread on my issue, A bricked PS3 CECH 4004C, which I flashed NOR on it instead of NAND, using PS3xploit. Wasn't thinking straight I guess. Now it powers on, the green light comes on, then 2 seconds later, it is off. It still detects the pad. Is there hope for it, to restore it? I had no backups, so wouldn't mind anything that can help.

Kindly advise

CECH-4004C is a NOR. However that model is not compatible for CFW. That's why you bricked.
You'll have to use an hardware flasher to unbrick per that guide. There are not other way.

Thanks for your quick response. Kindly direct me, What particular flasher should I use? Can I get it on Ebay? Will I need additional equipment with the flasher? Is using the flasher 'noob friendly'? Pardon me,I just don't wanna mess up again! :-)

Teensy++2.0 with Judge's NORway software.

Or

E3 flasher (with E3 linker preferably...)

Plug and play? Not really. You'll have to fully disassemble your machine. Then, at least solder tristate point to either ground or E3 SBE point. The NOR clip is not evident at all ( to not say crappy). Iwould prefer a full solder solution using the linker if you have some soldering skills.
Or, for a one shot use, maybe better to find an expert in your region. Price should be equivalent.
