PS2 Hacking the PS2

which ps2 series is better 1XXXX or 3XXXX or 5XXXX or 7XXXX or 9XXXX?
It depends on what you want to do with it...
Yesterday Yeah,I bought a second hand PS2 SCPH-50001/N with 3pcs Original PS2 Discs and 1pcs original dualshock 2 and also original 2pcs 8mb mc in disc box
Is it so hard to write the word 'pieces' completely?
The way you are using it, is just distracting and it would have been a better choice, to just leave it out entirely anyway...

and network adaptor without modchip
Price is only 26$ USD
That's alright (or even cheap) for an original adapter from Sony... A GameStar-Adapter is @~18$, including worldwide shipping...

Now my ps2 is servicing for modchip it will cost 25-30$
I'm new this PS2 series model
Can anyone explain for hacking & fmcb/fhdb
Why do you want to install a chip, if you intend to use FMCB/FHDB anyway?

Which modchip should I install for this ps2 SCPH-50001/N?
None, if you simply intend to use FMCB or FHDB...

without modchip I cannot install fmcb
That is Utter nonsense... There are multiple methods to install FMCB and/or FHDB, without a modchip.

You have a HDD and an adapter? Then just use an FHDB-Image and write it to the HDD...

In your region you can even get MCs, with FMCB pre-installed for ~3-4$!!!

by the way I have 100 pieces ps2 games disc
So? What do you intend to say by that? That you have 100 burned discs, worth 15-20 Cent each and that you need a chip to play them?

I have ~450 ORIGINAL discs/games for the PS2 and I neither need a chip for those, nor for backups!

original ps2 disc is very expensive than burned ps2 disc
an original ps2 disc is 19.99$
who will buy these expensive disc?
a burned ps2 disc 0.50$

Original ones are far more aesthetic than bootlegged crap. People willl look you down further if you never have any of original copies of the game disc and then show off.

Speaking of FMCB, you should use uncle Google for that, don't expect any spoonfeeding from us.

But only if you own an original game, you are legally allowed to play it!

Do you realize that we do neither condone, nor support Warez? You've agreed on that, upon registration!!!

That's nonsense as well! In my usual game-shop (Powergames) 250 meters away, most games are 5€ in MINT condition or only 2-3€ if it's an EA Sports game...

Even the ridiculously priced GameStop has it cheaper!

Who will buy original games? Well... Probably those who want to support the creators of the ART you are experiencing/playing and who want those creators to be able to produce more of that kind of things (games).

Who will buy a PS2-Game for 20€? Well, probably nobody, because it is easy to find them cheaper, except for rare games.

You have the money for a PS2, a PS3 and a freakin' Modchip, which isn't needed to play backups since 2005 and certainly not really needed since May 2008 and yet you say, you won't buy a single original game? Not even used in a package?

I got 37 PS3-games + a working (never opened) PS3 CECHC04 for 115€ including postage... That's a PS2-compatible PS3 for free and a PS3-game for 3€ each...
Well, that was a good hit, but it certainly proves that your claim doesn't even faintly hold up...

As a matter of fact, I know that the prices in Bangladesh are pretty similar and they already were in 2013!

Infact we already did... He can get a pre-installed card either from Ebay and or Amazon or simply Aliexpress or even locally, for ~3/4$...!

...or he can simply use, what he already has and simply download an FHDB-Image and write it to his HDD via a PC...

@Md Hesam: There are quite cheap SATA&IDE to USB-Adapter (usually you need an additional PSU) available, but you can also use the case of an external hard drive.

...or... You can also use an old PC. Even a PC from trash from 1995 would be sufficient!

@amirzim: I think, he means an adapter for the PC, to transfer the stuff to the HDD...

@amirzim you're right
How to write fhdb image on 3.5'' IDE using laptop
and then connect to my ps2
but I need an adaptor for laptop because I cannot boot this 3.5'' IDE hdd
please,give me adaptor is name

As I read, this game offer only online gameplay, so... ;) Probably on start trying communicate with mother server, if it doesn't get response, refuse to load. If those online services are taken down, You are out of luck.

And this topic is about hacking PS2, not PS3 games... Do You understand how forum works? It is definitely not an irc channel. It is organized because it is knowledge base for every lost soul who knows how to use search crawlers. Doing mess, You making their life much harder.

If you want to talk about PS3-Stuff, please create a new thread specifically regarding the questions you may have (and give it a proper name related to your question). ;)

Edit: ...or maybe someone of the #Staff can move the related posts?

It really seems, that you are a bit new to how boards/forums work. No offense taken, but you REALLY should re-read the rules AT LEAST once!

Regarding installing FMCB:
Once you have a way to connect the HDD - which you intend to insert into a PS2 - to some PC or Laptop (for example with an external HDD-Enclosure/Case, or internally in a PC), you don't need much more than the FHDB-Image and software to write it to the HDD.

never had that problem (using matrix infinity). are you sure it's not the controller and/or receiver, if you're using one. maybe try resyncing it.

How to resyncing it?

this is only if using wireless. logitech has a button on the receiver I believe. some controllers use channels that can be selected like the nyko airflow. if you have one of those, make sure both receiver and controller are using the same channel. personally, I think the logitech controller is garbage, and I have like three of them. interference can really disrupt how well it performs.

I'm using original DualShock 2
controller port 1 is working but controller port 2 is not work anymore but analog button on/off work
