this is my first post! im actually also waiting for a moderator to aprove my question, about why my ps3 wount play ripped games after i have tried to jailbrak my 60gb fat ps3. im hopefull that i will get help

What do you mean by 'ripped games'? Piracy is not welcome here and this is what I understand when it comes to 'ripped game' term.
Generally speaking everything related to ripping games (including to got a smaller image size) is a piracy.

In all fairness I call my games ripped. But looking at his other post he does refer to ripping the games from disc. So I replied to your other post and welcome to PSX-Place

thank you for the welcome well im having trouble getting the ps3 to play any iso's i have tried to follow

and i have installed CFW 4.88.2 Evilnat Cobra 8.3 and multiMAN_04.85.01_BASE_(20191010).pkg.

i can run multiman and all seams fine original game cd's work fine. but i cant get backups to work. i have tried with usb,cd/dvd/ network transfer. the games shows in multiman but when i try to start the game the playstation2 logo pops up and fade to black and then nothing. and if i use burned cd's i get the code that its not original game cd. so no luck there. do you know what i can do?

Thank you for sharing information. I didn't noticed Saiko44's post in another thread. As I said you guys know better what is allowed and what isn't and I don't think about 'ripped games' in the way you explained. I appreciate time for answer our questions.

i call it ripped when you extracted all information from a cd/dvd that have copy protection.and ripped games are when the game run on a burned cd/dvd.

i have made a video of my trying to mount and run the game the one with the sims game just crashes back to home screen and an eror code 80028f17 came up

i just have to ask. so you mean if i take a game that i own and put it in the ps3. and enter multiman and enter copy to iso, you call that piracing??? witch is the main reason people jailbreak the ps3.

Not exactly. I explained it above, so I am sure you know what I mean now. Thank you for explanation as well:
