PS3 HAN ban risks?? sharing information on my experiance

Hi, I just started using the HAN thingy and it works wonders :) I'm installing and playing backups using another user account that I made from scratch (without even logging into the PSN). The question is: can I play those games offline with my main user and log into my main PSN account every now and then to upload the trophies online? Or do I risk a ban for that? Thank you.

Using your main personal account is always a risk. I don't know of any banned users because of HAN but it is always a possibility and it will be painful if you loose your account conneted to PS4 and so. I recommend using only secondary accounts.

One person has reported as being banned somewhere on this site using HAN. but there's no way of finding out for sure how/if they ban you, it's all just risk if you are willing to take it....I however won't take that risk, my profile is precious to me lol

Yeah, I asked because I care for my account too :) I guess I'll wait to use it online until we have more info about SonNy's ways to detect hacks

We will never have more info about Sonys way, its a closed system, so no point waiting. CFW users have same issue for past 8years and they still don't know exactly what Sony does or does not check. Unless a Sony tech guy decides to leak it all we will never know.

All you can do is take every possible precaution, don't cheat, don't mod games online, don't visit HAN website while signed in etc.

You will never be sure, so don't use any account with purchases unless you are willing to lose it.

Wouldn't be useful to have a topic where people who got banned could share what they were doing, to try line out what is more likely to get you in troubles and what not?

Or even just for statistics purposes in general~

I agree. And have like it sticky.
Only superslims using han

Model?
What you were doing leading up to ban?
Account or console ban?
Etc...

Anything that is unofficial should not use the PSN services. Otherwise you all will be the one reporting how you tried to sync those silly trophies and got your consoles banned.

Ofc avoiding PSN at all is the safest move hands down, but just because we don't know SoNny's behavior doesn't mean we can't try to line out their ban patterns. It's about having more informations, nothing's wrong with that

And if trophies are worth or not is not the subject of the discussion

Eid0 section 0 ecdsa check(FYI:permenantly console id change makes this invalid. Solution:change the pub key and generate new ecdsa in section0. It was @Zar tool?)
Idps is checked, console Id is checked
Boot history is LIKELY checked
Cfw syscalls are checked
MAYBE loaded modules list are checked too

None of these fall in the criteria of han so you are pretty much safe from that front unless they start uploading act.dat ecdsa(possible with an update), hash the vsh data section(close to impossible)

Are u asking me if it's generate a new ecdsa in section0 ?
I have absolutly no idea, idpset is made with flatz code : https://github.com/zecoxao/ps3_decrypt_tools

FYI, flatz quote about PSN http://psx-scene.com/forums/content/ps3-dev-flatz-shares-new-information-psn-bans-3888
It doesn't.
You can't calculate ecdsa priv/pub key but you can generate priv/pub key using curves and then change the pub key in section0 and put your new R and S signature pair
Idk how to make new keyset but a guy SSL knows how and some math nerds.he was the first one to generate us a keyset for our han

So long that part isn't changed, ban risk is elevated because that can be checked very easily

Also, one could even swap the whole decrypted eid0 section 0 and signatures will be valid

These 2 ways can bypass that check in X-I-5 Passphrase

The problem is, what the ban will be ?

Is it console ban, or just account ban!

It will never be a console ban, nobody gets console ban, and no risk that u can get account ban, cuz nobody is getting that from han. So i dont think u will get either.

Its Like jailbreaking ur ps3 but its for super slim models as well. But remember its risky to use ur first account, better create a new account on psn, and use that for HAN and installing games.

But what about, doing oll operations on second temporary account, but playing offline on main acount (which already deactivated)
and synch trophies after copy original act.dat to console, and remove han with reinstall firmware/
