PS3 HAN ban risks?? sharing information on my experiance

here's some of what sony checks: http://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/Online_Connections#Community_spying

it doesn't say anything about your game history, just current game. it's possible that the history is sent. I mean the xbox360 and 3ds do this, so why not the ps3? ;)

You don't get the whole story from one side, its concrete info but at the same time speculative that its used for any type of banning purposes and that only tells a portion of the whole scheme of things.

The problem is, what the ban will be ?

Is it console ban, or just account ban!

It will never be a console ban, nobody gets console ban, and no risk that u can get account ban, cuz nobody is getting that from han. So i dont think u will get either.
I've been banned twice (neither system on HAN) and both times it was account & console

What are the best advices we can use to avoid banning?
Use common sense, don't cheat/mod online, don't try booting/installing homebrew as you have no good way to clear history. All you can do is minimize the risks and hope for the best..Of course don't risk any accounts you use on other consoles or with money spent on them.

What about activating US raps on EU account ? It's like jumping without parachute :))

There's no problem if u get the eu pkg and the rap file in us account i do it myself its the same thing :)
You can not possibly know that so you should not tell people there is no problem. Obviously using licences from different regions increases ban risk, how could it not? those are exactly the type of files that Sony cares about.

Ok, thanks, i'll never use cheats or mod the console, works fine.

Guys I play online with games that I installed using Han. In my opinion, you will not get banned because you are not running CFW. Xploits on ofw are much harder to detect than cfw because cfw changes the software entirely. I think that Sony has to release a firmware update in order to detect Han, which I believe is not going to happen. Sony has officially ended the production of ps3. They have ended its support. Maybe they can detect han and ban people using it but are not doing so becasue they don't care about Ps3 anymore. Who knows? Han was released in March 2018 and its been 3 months since its release. If they had to release a firmware update, they would have done that already. I dont think there is a ban risk. I think that Sony is in "we dont give a f*ck about last gen" mode.

There are many ways to detect "playstation network" infractions
An easy one... check the purchase history of an user (in sony store databases)... and compare with his profile of unlocked game trophies (in sony user databases)
This applyes to the PSN games in PKG format, that uses specific TITLE_ID identifyers (that indicates is a PSN PKG)

If the user did not purchase the game... how is posible for him to have trophies of that game ?... emmm = ban

----------
In CFW there is another one similar... most CFW "locks" a file used to store the TITLE_ID of the games you have played... because this file is locked (and sometimes deleted) in CFW... is like telling sony that you dont play games
But you are sending info about your unlocked trophies to PSN servers, lol... so how is posible an user unlocks trophies without playing the game... emmmm = ban

----------
And so on...
I guess the reason why sony doesnt uses this methods is because are not 100% relliables
But are a huge red flag telling "hey sony look at me"

Well not really the most effective way at least in the first example, because what if my brother buys a game with his account but I play it using mine? there's a game a didn't purchase but I do play with for example. So at least that case I can't really see a risk

the idps would be the same between both accounts though. ;) that's one thing that's sent to sony and what is banned directly.

You mean the idps is console based or how would be the same then? and wouldn't that mean that if a game is signed for han/an account, wouldn't mean it haves the same idps than the other one you use to play?

the idps is required for psn content. that, the act.dat, and the rif files. you can actually create rap files using those three things. the idps is console-specific, so it will be the same for all accounts on the system.

Still. Not dead ( yet )

Working state: current..

Some websites says it will end on march 2019
