PS4 Hardware Mods and Add-on

Hey guys

Just wondered if there were any good hardware add ons/mods that are worth installing to the PS4. So far I've internally soldered a ESP32 in order to host the 9.00 exploit and I have my UART installed also now (even though I've not got into development like I did with the PS3) as it's also handy to have.

Main reason for the question is that Im basically wanting to build an all singing/all dancing machine as a project to see how much can be done to one system

idk about other mods but i bought an 18650 spring loaded holster with wires attached, an 18650 dedicated charging board, and replaced my battery on my ds4 controller with an 18650. it works great ive got like 10x the battery life compared to the stock battery, ill play every day for multiple hours a day for a week or more before i need to charge it.

my ps4 controller is still kicking, however i removed the charging board to save some space, and bought a 4 slot 18650 compatible charger. each one of my 18650's gets about a week or more of 3 or 4 hours a day before needing charged. when it dies i pop a charged one in and charge the dead one.

sorry for the res but i figured id update and let everyone know that having the 18650 has not hurt the controller at all over about 2 years so far that ive been using it. just make sure you put the battery in correctly, ive accidentally put one in backwards, luckily i caught it before it blew up or did any damage(5ish minutes, maybe slightly more) to the controller itself, still works flawlessly.

If you want to go extreme, there's also the revert mod. I would only recommend doing this if you know what you're doing, and also got the necessary equipment, time and patience to do it. I did it so I can go to the latest firmware anytime and also go back to a jailbreakable firmware anytime.
