PS5 HDD for PS5 Dumps possible?

Hi there,
I am new to the PS5-JB Scene and therefore "sorry" for some noob-questions.
I am allready using a PS4 with game dumps on an external HDD-Drive which works fine and I have a 4TB HDD left which I want to use on my jaulbroken PS5.
During my research I've found out, that it's no problem starting PS4-Dumps from external HDD with Itemzflow and SSD is recommended for PS5 dumps, but they are a bit more expensive. So as I still have one HDD left I want to use this as storage for PS5 dups as well.
So is it nevertheless possible to start/ play PS5 dumps from an external HDD and what effect will it have? Just more waiting time until the game starts or further lags during the game?
As a workaround: Can I copy the dump-folders from external to internal Drive to start them with Itemzflow?

PS5 cannot play from PS5ES. It is used only as storage. Simply because USB 3.1 is to slow for that.

Last question have zero sense to me. PS4ES and PS5ES are encrypted, with custom logic structure. Tools for decrypt them and mount not exist yet.

Well - If an SSD External drive is used, PS5 Games can be startet an played from there (e.G with Itemsflow on a Jailbroken PS5) - that's what several tutorials say.
There's also a method to start Dumps from internal

So I am thinking about wether buying a SSD External or a SSD internal to expand the storage on the PS5. Both of the solutions are quite expensive if you want to have 2TB.
What are your suggestions?

Ps5 Games can only be played from internal ssd. external hdd is for storage only.
