I first added CFW to my PS3 simply because I wanted to play my PS2 games on it. In the meantime, I've been modding Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Modding that game obviously is much better on the PC version, as it is with most games, but my laptop (which was decent enough to run and mod it) recently died. Instead, I decided to see how much the PS3 version could be modded, and I've managed to change it quite a bit. For example, I removed the cutscenes to shrink the game size from 20GB+ down to less than 6GB, changed the main menu a bit, and tinkered with a few other things.
I haven't seen much discussion about PS3 modding for this game at all, and if there's a site interested in modding console games, it's probably this one. So I'm curious to know if this topic interests anyone here.
