I got a danger in "014.05 bootldr 0xFF Filled Area". I've dumped it twice & didn't help. I'm hoping it's a false result as my PS3 Slim is a CECH-2501A model. Anyone know if I can continue modding it or should I stop

Please open your dump in hex editor, go to 0xFF6000 and take a screenshot

Wow this odd, I've opened my dump [not the log as previously posted] but I cannot find "0xFF6000" offset or line whatever for the life of me. It keeps giving me an error that it's not found, I've tried using HxD and an online on. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? But this is the best it's given me

Prior to this, my PS3 slim was on an older firmware--I swapped its hard drive with a 1TB one and installed the latest firmware via PC/USB before beginning to install CFW

That is very strange. How did you made your dump?
I used the PS3 NOR/NAND Flash Writer 4.90, following this guide


I guess what maybe triggered this danger is from me updating the original firmware via USB or swapping out hard drives quickly? I've modded a few PS3s but never had any issues before

Try taking another dump using bgtoolset then.
