PS4 Help a noob regarding jailbreak Ps4

Ok, so I´ve been through like 20 youtube vidoes regarding how to jailbreak, GOLDHEN seems like a good way to do it...
But out of that I have no idea what videos are real and what is not.
Some omments are "fake" and "does not work" so it´s pretty hard to know what is working and not.

Two questions.
1. Is 9.0 the "best" possible firmware to have (will buy soon on ebay is my thought)
2. Can anyone link me to a (LEGIT) video where I step by step can see what I need to do to jailbreak my ps4?
So thankfull for your help guys

You can currently jailbreak up to 11.00. Goldhen is supported on 5.05, 6.71, 6.72, 9.00, 9.60, 10.00, 10.01, and 11.00.

9.00 can use the WebKit exploit with USB, and the pppwn exploit can be used on 11.00 and lower (requires LAN connection using PPPoE)

There are several videos by ModdedWarfare on YT that walk through steps pretty accurately.

I have a 9.60 Pro and the PPPWN exploit works basically perfect using PC or Raspberry Pi.

5.05 is still considered the "golden firmware" afaik. There are some things like the update blocker payload that only work on it. It's extremely easy to jb. And, you can play newer games through backports. I sold my PS4, limited edition system on 5.05 for $350 a while back.

Preventing the system from accident Updates is possible on 9.00 as well, and I believe it is available on every other exploitable firmware version, too.
I'm not sure of this, but one of the benefits of staying on such a low firmware is in using Linux. Something related to graphics drivers, I guess.
It is extremely easy to jb other firmware versions up to 9.00 AFAIK.

Yeah, update blocker works on 11.00 and lower. Different payloads though AFAIK. I have personally tried it on 11.00 and 9.60.

As far as I remember, the fake update files are deleted after a kp. The payload still works, but it doesn't last. On 5.05, it's not deleted. I don't know if this is deliberate by Sony or not or if it's changed, but it was true for a long time, perhaps years.

Define easier. Using a USB is easy. Using a LAN cable is also easy. I would say a USB is "easier" for most people, but if you have a raspberry pi, I think the lan cable is easier, as its basically automatic.

It's not such a big deal when it comes to exploiting, but it really depends on stability. I don't know how stable later exploits are, but rest mode pretty much ensures that the exploit will last in most cases. You may occasionally get a kernel panic where the system suddenly restarts or shuts off, but I remember at least on 5.05, I didn't get a kp for over two years, till I sold the system.
