Sorry for posting this here. Only serious people please...

I accidentaly deleted all files of my recycled bin and l desesperatly need to recover one folder of 116GB lol xD

I do not have any kind of "backwards" compatibility in the pc. I have tried multiple programs (all misleading and scammers tbh) and default options but l cannot find a solution.

Any type of help is appreciated, THANKS! :)

Edit----
No point now as you have used recuva to permanently delete the files and carried on putting programs onto the hdd as well as creating folders etc

Bro, that is such a massive amount of data to lose that I think there is no bringing it back sadly :(

Can't you just recover the files from the internet somehow? Or are they no longer obtainable through the web?

Try Recuva which is made by the same people that make CCleaner. Even if you bought the professional version I do not think it would be capable of restoring 116GB of data, people have issues getting back files that are bigger than 4GB with Recuva

If it was very recently deleted then there might be a more hackish way to get your files back but I wouldn't know how... There is remnant data on your computer of everything that you've ever dumped from the Recycle Bin but the longer you take to get it back, the greater the chance that it will become metadata forever.

Have you tried setting your computer back to a time-frame from before you deleted the files? Otherwise, you may be out of luck.

Not much can be done at this point. If you downloaded some programs on the same hard drive to try to recover those files, you very likely already overwrote a part of data already. Also depends if it's a one 119GB file or a bunch of smaller ones.
Try your luck with Recuva - perform a deep scan (preferably plug your drive into another PC as to not overwrite any more files if it's a system drive).
Also how did this happen? A recycle bin was made literally to prevent accidental file deletions.

Recuva is not very helpfull tbh, I can't even select the recycle bin. Just did Shift+Supr which deletes files permanently...

I made a new folder so in the case l cant recover them l move this big folder to a new one so l do not get error while overwriting files in the same location.

That's not how you recover files. The location of the files is stored in the MFT while the files themselves are stored later on in the hard drive. When you delete a file, only a path to it in MFT is deleted and the space is marked as free. However unless you overwrite the sectors with other data, the old data is still there. You should perform a deep scan of your entire drive which scans all the sectors and if you're lucky, it will let you recover a part of your files.

Exactly
Nice to see others that know this [emoji106]

But as you have already stated it's probably useless being that the data was most likely overwritten by now.

I also LOVE how you say "Nice to see others that know" in such a manner like you knew this yourself... When all you did was "second" my Recuva answer because neither of us could specify exactly where recycled files go, just somewhere. Perhaps I've been over-analyzing your replies for the past few days but I must say that you are quite abrasive with most of your answers.

Maybe you're right, somewhat, but telling that to people as if you expect them to feel bad about it isn't how you offer help either. Stop being so derogative and realize that people screw up or lose interest after multiple attempts to fix something, the guy asked and that's all that matters... It is no one's fault that he couldn't get a good answer within "his/her" proper timeframe. No need to be salty, WE TRIED.

Nope I told him to wait as I have a low lever recovery tool that you boot into that will recover it.
I did not recommend windows based tools as they overwrite just by being installed
Recuva is crap but as I saw that HE said he used it to permanently delete then I edited my post to reflect this.
Now stop being butt hurt and trying to make yourself look good by using me as some sort of shitty example.

I deleted 5 GB folder with ebooks and emptied my recycle bin by mistake. I immediately ran data recovery software and recovered all the files. Chances of recovery depend upon time of deletion. You can't recover files which you deleted a while back.

Also you should have Hiren Boot CD as it has many useful tools.
