PS3 Help Installing latest Evilnat CFW on CechL01

So i got my hands on another system, but its been a few years since I've done this and the circumstances are different. This console currently has 3.50 official firmware on it. So I remember reading being able to install CFW below 3.55 directly but I could be wrong. Anyway I thought I would ask you guys, since I want to get this right. How would you go about it? technically, that's correct. you should be able to install cfw over 3.50 directly, but it's recommended to update to 3.55 ofw first, usually, to prevent any possible problems.

Thanks for your help Gregor, did just like you said, all is up and running just fine. Looks like I scored a practically new system. 2 Days total runtime.
