PS4 Help Needed on 12.02 LUA Exploit

Hello everyone,
I've successfully downgraded my PS4 from 12.52 to 12.02. The console originally came with firmware 11.50, so I first updated it to 12.52 to download a compatible Japanese game and activate a Japanese account.
After dumping and patching both the NOR and SYSCON chips, I installed firmware 12.02 without any issues.
The problem I'm facing is that the Japanese game is now locked, even though it was unlocked and fully working on 12.52. I've tried using multiple known-good backups (the same ones worked on other consoles), so I'm sure the issue isn't with the game files.
Also, when I try to launch the game, it prompts me to set the date and time via the internet, even though the time is already set correctly. Obviously, I can't connect to the internet due to the exploit setup, so this becomes a blocker.
I'm trying to use the LUA exploit on 12.02, but I can't get past this issue.
Could this be caused by something in my specific downgrade process, or maybe the way I created or restored the user?
If anyone has experienced this or knows how to fix it, please let me know. I can provide more details if needed.

Thanks in advance!

I've looked around online and can't find another instance of someone having this issue, you seem to have done the downgrade and set everything up properly so you're kind of buggered here sadly

Best bet is to pray another exploit comes out that doesn't involve games of any kind, it's what I'm doing since I'm not paying 200$ for a shameful game just to mess around with PS4 linux

The lock on a digital game usually signifies that the account associated with it isn't currently signed into the console, making it unplayable until this happens.

found this but im not sure how accurate the info is...be warned

For those of you having trouble getting the A method to work, and have had no other choice but to try the B method or any other for the console to boot which ends up making the games LOCKED

after revert, I have the solution: You have to start with the original backups (Nor and Syscon). Patch the Nor with the Switch method that already works well with your console. Then take the Syscon backup and patch it with the A method; at this point if you flash this file you probably have already had issues with the pulsing blue light. Take that patched file which says "patch A" and PATCH IT AGAIN, then select the NEW file which will say "Patch A" twice and PATCH IT YET AGAIN until you end up with a file that says "patch A" three times. And that's it; take that file and flash it to the Syscon. The problem is that the B method deleted too many groups of 4 entries and the console is no longer synchronized to allow activation. So, by doing the A method you delete only the latest 4 entries, then you do it again and delete other 4 entries (which produces a file with an error "overriden CoreOS" or something), then you patch it again until you get a file that says "already patched or stuck on update". Every time you patch with the A method, you only delete 4 entries. That's why it works, because you go back step by step.

I've never done the revert so i'm not sure i follow what he's trying to explain..maybe you follow better since you've already done it

Updated 2 : the is another console and another issue .

Hello guys, what's up?
I had a PS4 on firmware 12.50 and successfully downgraded it to 12.02. Then, I updated it back to 12.52 in order to use the LUA exploit. I also created a Japanese account, activated it as primary, and backed up and restored the Japanese game.
After that, I dumped both the NOR and Syscon chips, patched them both correctly, but the PS4 just boots normally on 12.52 — it doesn't prompt anything or trigger the LUA exploit.
I've tried several different methods with both the Syscon and NOR but none of them worked.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

did you create the game save?
create the game save on ps4 and transfer to pc where you will decrypt it, patch it and reencrypt it...copy it back to the ps4 and it should work. There is a discord channel for the modification of the gamesave. Modded warfare has a video. google it
