Hi All,

I have a fat PS3 with no display on the HDMI port, but ok on AV port.
Don't remember the exact model, but the motherboard is VER-001.

I was thinking the problem is with the Panasonic MN864709 HDMI IC, so i bought a new one and replace it.

Still the same problem. Then i was looking for more info and i found this page with the pinout:
https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/MN864709

According to pinout, the ic is taking 2 voltages (HDMI_VCC2 and HDMI_VCC1) on pins 99 & 100 and i don't have anything there.

These 2 voltages are coming from a nearby voltage regulator (Mitsumi 348A) on pins 4 and 5:

Can someone please check the voltages on these 2 pins and tell me what i should have there?

Even with the HDMI IC de-soldered, the regulator doesn't output anything, so it's clearly bad.

Thank you.

Answering my own question...

The voltages of the regulator from psdevwiki.com are wrong...

I found a working PS3 with VER-001 motherboard and Mitsumi 348A regulator to test it.

Below are the correct values of the regulator:

Pin1 Not connected
Pin2 3.3v - Input - Enable
Pin3 GND
Pin4 1.2v - Output HDMI_VCC1 to MN864709 HDMI IC Pin 100 (and a lot more pins)
Pin5 3.3v - Output HDMI_VCC2 to MN864709 HDMI IC Pin 99 (and a lot more pins)
Pin6 GND
Pin7 3.3v - Input - Enable
Pin8 5v - Input from PSU Standby
