If it comes back again, your Nor is most likely damaged.
If that's the case, it will need replaced.

Tried this 3x.. Still rsod when the system reboots.. So I guess my nor is ruined... Is there a way to replace my nor or the ps3 is ruined beyond redemption??

It can be replaced of course.
The old nor chip needs to be desoldered, then a new chip soldered.
Remember that the new chip needs flashed. The flashing could be done off-board or on-board AFAIK with a dump of your old nor chip then the rsod fix has to be run again.
Unless you are comfortable with soldering & have the required tools, you may need to ask a professional to do it for you....

It needs dumping via a tsop programmer as I don't think multiman will do a full dump
Then the nor needs de soldering then a replacement soldering on then the dump flashing back on
Then finally re run the lv2diag to re write the VTRM area

But your in the perfect position to try the cfw tools RSOD fix to see what that does.
I know it's in rebug 4.80 but I don't know if rebug is RSOD bypassed so the console will boot to use the tools

@KinG_GanGa

Nothing to lose in trying xmb cfw settings in Rebug, as @baileyscream just said.
Could you follow the steps in post #11 & report to us?

Btw there's no need to post the same question in multiple threads. You will not get more help than you already have... [emoji5]️

I recomand to try to make a NOR backup first (with rebug toolbox or multiman). Just in case. And also to have an idea of the damages.

I just went back to check reply #11 and im not familiar with what rebug toolbox is.. If you could probably break it down alil for me like @baileyscream did I would appreciate it.. And about the other thread it was a mistake... I'm new to this tapatalk thing really.. Thanks for the heads up doe.. Really appreciated @bguerville

If you use Rebug, you need the Rebug Toolbox provided with the CFW to enable or disable the multiple features offered by the cfw.
It enables you to toggle Cobra, webMAN-MOD, convert CEX/DEX, make dumps...

Just to go the Package Manager, Install package files, PS3 Hard Disk, the Rebug Toolbox 02.02.10 pkg should already be listed there.
If you cannot find it, download it from rebug.me
Install it.
Launch it, go to the second column called Selector & enable XMB CFW Settings.
Cobra & webMAN-MOD should be enabled also.
PS2 emulator should be set to Cobra.
On exiting the Toolbox, the console will reboot.
Then you can follow the steps from post #11.

Regarding dumping, you can make a NOR dump with Rebug Toolbox as well.
Look at the last column called Utilities.
The entry Export Flash to file will give you a Nor dump on /dev_usb000. You will therefore need to have a usb key formatted in fat32 plugged in the usb port closest to the BD Drive.
The same can be done with multiman.
