PS3 Help on activating psn account (error 80029519) on ps3 cfw

Hi everyone,

I am having a little issue on activating my psn account in account management for my non-bc ps3 running on cfw. I did the steps on creating my psn account safely, deleting sys calls, history and all then logging into my psn. When I go into the account management on my ps3 and try to activate the ps3, it gives me the 80029519 error.

I have researched a little and was told that I would need psn patch? I would have gone along with the process but the methods are for ps3hen on the slim models, not the phat ones. So, just to be safe, I would like to ask for guidance or a tutorial on how to activate my psn account so that I could play my ps2 isos running on Webman Mod.

PSN Patch is useless now, don't use it.

You have to to delete every reference to the old PSN account in your console (act.dat file and xRegistry entries), before trying to activate it.

Or just create a new user, re-login your PSN and activate.

Hi, I gave it a go. I deleted the act.dat file and xregistry.sys through multiman, logged into my psn, went to system activation, then to ps3 system, pressed the game option, then to activate system and I somehow got the same error? What did I do wrong?

Alright, got it to work. So, to run ps2 isos through webman mod, do I reboot ps3 system, then launch webman mod? I disabled the syscalls through cfw tools so I cannot access the cfw I installed

If you deleted xRegistry.sys, next boot should be a BSOD with possible format prompt.

I see. I didn't got that yet but I will let you know. Also, I have another question. I got the activation to work but I'm not sure what I do next. Do I reboot the console so that I can use cfw safely and run my ps2 iso through webman mod? Do I need to download anything else?

You'll probably have to reenable syscalls. I don't have a cfw unit to say if this can be done without resetting. Iirc, one syscall remains intact to reenable them, possibly in cfw settings under the network tier, so resetting may not be needed.

Alright, so I would have to go to cfw tools which is like cfw settings or is it a different thing? If possible, could you direct me to a tutorial or guide on psx place on how to do this?
