help please with already JB ps3

hi folks,could do with a bit of help with my already CFW PS3 as im desperate to get a shot of last of us etc before the new one comes out,its already been hacked but it needs updated and i dont know how im supposed to do it ! i bought the ps3 already hacked but its been gathering dust for a while

its on version 4.81 under system info

still has multiman 04.82.00 but it wont update when i try

firmware model says COBRA 7.52 COMPATIBLE on multiman

dont know much about cex or dex etc any help would be much appreciated folks on what updated CFW i should be installing

tried my usb portable drive with a game on it but multiman couldnt see it but ive read it should be fat 32 with MBR,it was fat 32 but obviously not in MBR

Where do you get this message? You don't need to update anything to play TLOU, even the game. If the PS3 is connected using a wire to a router, disconnect it and try again.

hi,do i not need to update the CFW ok yes for TLOU its ok but other games ? and inside multiman where you can update the version it wont do it ? im connected with wifi not wired but i can go wired if it helps

For updating games, you can just press over the disc icon or the game icon if it's the PS Store digital version, and then check for updates. There's no ban risk in doing this, and you don't need to be signed in to PSN to do so.

I meant, disconnect from internet. If you're wireless, disconnect, or disable internet connection under settings. There's no need to update anything to play that game. Asuming you have it on ISO/folder, there's no need to update.

hi,so theres no need for me to put an updated CFW on the ps3 ? i can access multiman but it wont update for some reason ! it flashes up in the top right hand corner telling me theres an updated multiman version and when i scroll to the left to update it says error please try later !

i take it not to update the ps3 as its saying to update when i try to access psn,its set to autoupdate off
