Hey guys

Does anyone knows where the Registered Controllers IDs is storaged?

Because first my main controller stopped to work after loosing sync with ps2net emu, i cannot sync anymore, reseting it throught pc, hitting the small button in the back.

Now i was using my other DS3 controller, and it looses sync after ps2 net emu (Seems random) and occours since i remember using Cobra, but now after using a modded ps2 netemu (dunno if its the cause) i cant sync anymore. And i dont wanna restore my system.

Does anyone knws where is it storaged?

my guess would be the xregistry. that's where most of the options r stored. I believe u can even make install pkgs appear through the xregistry. it won't work however unless u've modified the nas_plugin.sprx. anyway, r u sure it's not due to game_ext_plugin.sprx? u've modified what's considered a "high risk" sprx file when it comes to cobra. u need to recalculate the hashes for it to work properly. that would be my guess as to y ur having those issues. all other files in ur mod r okay, just that one that may need recalculating.

I will try the xRegisty files, i think i recalculate the hashes properly, if not i will try to restore the original one, i see if it is what causing the issues, thanks @pinky

ur welcome. k...that's only a guess but a logical one. the xregistry even includes the hdd serial number, so it may have a way of identifying the controllers as well. it's not something I've looked into really. there's an xregistry app that will make things easier. most, if not all of it, has been determined, so if the controller information is in there, it will probably tell u. I only mentioned the hashes since u didn't include them in ur mod. I assumed u forgot to recalculate them. if u've recalculated them properly, there may be something wrong with the controller. I have a controller that always sticks to the left or right, so games r virtually unplayable. lol I bought a new controller recently, and it's given me no trouble.

The xRegisty doent solve LOL, anyways i'm flashing CFW again to see if its my cause, because 2 controllers stopped working after ps2 emu, so its probably my fault AHAH,

I was thinking cobra 7.50 was the breakoff point to where u no longer needed to fix hashes. I remember u @habib or @Joonie mentioning that a long time ago, and it stuck with me in my mind. with the freezes and the controller sync issues, I naturally assumed that hashes were responsible. now, that we have verification that they were indeed no longer needed, we have to look elsewhere. my guess now is that it's either the system_plugin.rco or sysconf_plugin.rco. they were my original belief actually after reading that selecting themes caused a freeze. I think themes information is in the sysconf_plugin.rco. as @LuanTeles probably already knows, each tier has its own rco file along with the explore_plugin rco files. it's possible that explore_plugin_full.rco may also be responsible, but I still think it's one of the aforementioned.

I had similar issues losing sync etc. a while back with PS2 games. A few months later the batteries in the controllers decided to die completely.

Was looking in all the wrong places. :P

For info..

In xregistry.sys you will find entries like these for controller 1 & for 10 more:

/setting/bt/controller1/sdpinfo
/setting/bt/controller1/linkkey

But you will also find entries like these for hid1 & for 3 more, that could also be used by some pads:

/setting/bt/hid1/sdpinfo
/setting/bt/hid1/linkkey

You can get more information, if you require, including tips on how to reset the xregistry, from http://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/XRegistry.sys
