PS3HEN Help! PS3 Slim HEN is enabled but can't install PKG files (4.88)

Trying to install Multiman, have followed instructions as presented in YT video from MrMario2011, but get to the part to install Multiman and it won't install (error8001003A). I looked it up and it thinks that I'm unplugging the USB while trying to install, but I assure you that's not what I'm doing. am new at all this and looking for what the next step might be. Not signed in to PSN and HEN enabled, yet nothing.

Try copying again the pkg and check the md5. It could be a bad copy.

Try attaching the usb drive to another port. The current usb port could be defective.

Try using a different storage device. The usb drive or pendrive could be damaged or corrupt.

Or use FTP to transfer the pkg to /dev_hdd0/packages

MD5 was good, tried copying pkg with multiple usb drives in different ports, nothing fixes it. Can't even get webman installed (which didn't think was necessary based on video referenced, but tried anyway to see if that fixed it, but nope nothing). Looks like I've got the HEN enabled but can't install anything. did I do that right? or do I need to reset something?

If you are trying to install games and DLC, try to activate the account and console first. Turn on the console WITHOUT HEN enabled, create a PSN account with another email (never use your PSN account with purchases inside with modded consoles) and when finished, click on Device Management or something > Activate System > Game. You dont need this account logged every single time (i actually recommend to uncheck the option to save password and auto sign in). Now that you have a legit idps, hen can activate pkgs on the fly if the license file is on the folder exdata of the usb stick or on the hdd and its file extension is lowercase (MYLICENSE.RAP will not work, MYLICENSE.rap will)
If the console is banned you can use Apollo Save Tool.
