Help unbrick ps3 slim

So long story short I was trying to update my cfw on 4.8.5 and after rebooting the ps3 it no longer boots up. It just turns green for couple of seconds then switches off and starts blinking red. I cant enter recovery mode and I cant even get it to stay on for longer than seconds.

You're going to need a hardware flasher to dump & try to fix the flash.
Once we know your model number of your ps3 & you have a Teensy++ 2.0 or E3 Flasher we can better help guide you on unbricking your system.

I did try that and I got the very same result. Green goes on for couple of seconds then it beeps twice and it starts blinking red. I even tried botting it with the CD drive removed, same thing.

INFO:
I was on 4.8.5 cobra 8. Something and i wanted a clean jb and to move to a cfw called reffor 8.20 ( definately sure I misspelled the name). So I started by going to recovery mode and resetting default settings and formatting and rebuilding file systems and then the ps booted normally and all went well, after that I realized I no longer have the package manager, thinking my ps3 was no longer jailbroken i decided to jailbreak it again to go to that cfw i mentioned above. I jailbroke it using the web browser and all went well. However, after I rebooted the ps3 the problem started happening.

I would really appreciate any help I can get. Feel free to inbox me if you want.

E3 Flasher to help you and restore the dump

I'm here, you'll find a topic on how to restore ladies and your console

You were most likely still jail broken and when you flashed the hex with the exploit it caused a brick.
The way to fix it is to make a dump with a hardware flasher fix the coreos and flash it back.

That's nice of you, thank you. I have another question of thats ok. Is there any alternative for the e3 flasher? And can the culprit be the fact that my ps is out of its case ? Or if I wrongly positioned screws back ? applied thermal paste wrong ? Basically hardware wise what can be a culprit.

I couldnt reply on my thread.

I wouldn't think that would be the issue here. It sounds like you still had a cfw installed when you flashed the hex with the exploit. That will brick your ps3 every time.
It's not hard to fix and if you already have the case off that makes it even quicker. I'll try to get this moved to the thread so it's all in one place for you.
