PS3 Help Updating CFW

Hey guys, yesterday my girlfriend tried to update my cfw 4.85 to ofw 4.86 which led to the recovery mode updating screen whenever you turned on the console. From then I updated to hfw 4.86 thinking that it would let me straight up update to cfw 4.86. The problem is that now I can't seem to install the cfw due to corrupt data on the update. I was trying to use the rebug cfw 4.86 one. Any tips? shouldn't I have updated to hfw? thanks

You lost your jailbreak as OFW or HFW was installed. You need to jailbreak it again.

You can not go from OFW or HFW to CFW without a jailbreak. Once on CFW you never need to install HFW or OFW ever again.
