Picked up a brand new sealed box super slim off the local marketplace a couple years ago (yeah i was stupid by opening it needed to make sure it still worked).
Its been sitting in my cupboard untouched since now and have decided to install HEN and put a bigger hdd in it.
From the research I've done, apprently 1tb is the safer option for max storage without causing issues.
I've decided to buy a mx500 ssd. I've also decided to pick up some mx4 thermal paste and new pads just Incase it's gone dry after all these years.
I don't want to have an external hdd drive attached to it and want to keep everything installed on the internal ssd.
My question is, what's the best method for having disc based games installed on the internal? I've got a number of titles on disc and also own a fair few exclusives I've bought from psn. Is split iso the best option for disc based games that aren't available on the store. Eg FF13
If I absolutely must use an external drive. Would a 512gb usb 3.0 thumb drive be suitable?
