Help with WD Mybook dual partition and game install

Hi all,

Total noobie warning. I am trying to setup a Western Digital Mybook as 1tb fat32 and the other 1tb as ntfs, I used minitool partition and created a mbr fat32 partition and then split it and formated the other partition to be ntfs. I have tried to access with webman, irisman and multiman and none of them will see the second partition. What am I doing wrong?

I have been trying to set this ps3 up it has evil nat 4.88.2. It is driving me crazy when I try to run some .iso files they will black screen after a bit or put up the title and then black screen or just go back to the XMS screen, other will work, that is what I am trying to split the hard drive. Out of 100 games in iso format only 60 worked. I am converting pkg files to iso using PSN liberator or folders to iso using ps3 iso tools. I could not get anything but iso to work from ntfs, and fat 32 has the size limit, so what is the best option or am i doing something wrong?

Well converting from PKG is gonna be your issue. The games are hit or miss if they work. Either install your PKG files or rip from disc.

I am running out of space on internal, can an installed game be converted to iso and moved to external usb?

Problem solved, it was due to the WD My Passport, there something the way it is setup that wont let ps3 see both partitions, used a normal internal drive and the problem was gone. Just an FYI for any other noobies.
