HEN and QA flag

Hi, it is well documented that a HEN user should not attempt to enable FSM (though I'm not sure of the reason), but can a QA enabler be used?

No, it can not be toggled on properly. However some QA features are activated when HEN is enabled..

1. You can use the install all pkgs option which is normally QA flagged consoles only.
2. Also if you do the QA flag button combo you can access the QA Debug settings menu.

I guess I'll need to be bothered enough to plug in the CECH-C room heater if I want to check out what the PS3 OS was in the 4.20 days and the like :P

I think you would be stuck in FSM because you couldn't run the .SELF to exit.

Couldn't you just use the FSM toggle again? (I'm thinking about a CFW I don't remember the name of, which has a FSM on/off tool in network > * custom firmware tools > service tools)

Nope Install All Pkgs will work even on no-QA Flagged consoles as me and other users report the Install All packages error " 8002AE32 " and devs in this thread make solution Q2 this year to restore this function with no need for QA Flag and Install All packages was restored before by rogero patching the nas_plugin.sprx for 4.30 CFW see this

You mean Rebug that have CFW Settings when its enabled user see Custom Firmware Tools in Network Category

We cant use that toggle on HEN as we have no lv1 exploit. Also Sony revoked the lv2diag.self that is used for exiting FSM, but they did not revoke the self used to enter FSMas far as I know.

Yes, That is what I was saying, I know about that thread, I am mentioned in the first post. We were all discussing that issue on discord before that thread was started.

i remember now and you right we don't have lv1 exploit so the toggle will not behave the same as on CFW as there is no lv1 mmap in HEN but maybe in future
