PS3 HEN Flash Patcher (development discussion)

Could anyone post an eBay/Ali/Amazon link to a compatible NAND/NOR flasher that doesn't require soldering? I want to help test this tool. I figured I'd just buy a bunch of second hand PS3s, test them all and resell.

According to this link https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/Hardware_flashing
you should look for E3 or Progskeet 1.0/1.1/1.2/1.21. They are listed as "Solderless"

"Solderless is optional for E3 (but still requires soldering tristate)."

tbh I'd really rather get a recommendation from someone who already has a flasher before I spend money.
really sorry to have bothered you, I was sure you had a flasher.

You won't get a better answer. I have an e3 flasher I've used on nor. That is solderless as Aldo said, but requires soldering the tristate.

I've also used the teensy 4 on nand, which requires soldering, and preferably a microscope.

Any clip methods should work fine, but are subject to not sitting correctly on the chip without a clamp or other external tool.

Most likely you will always need to at least make one solder connection.
