HEN Toolbox

PS3 HEN Toolbox v1.00

Cool stuff!! As always. Thanks DeViL303!

I wonder, does the package manager includes the option to batch install (Install all)? The HEN Package Manager already include it but ONLY for packages in the USB root folder, not in the Packages inside the USB, nor the PS3 HDD.

Then WMM removes it! Disable that option by following this:
1. Go to webMAN Games>webMAN Setup>PS3 webMAN [Setup]
2. Find "webMAN MOD Setup
3. Uncheck "Remove SingStar icon
4. Save the settings and restart
5. USE the HEN TOOLBOX TO REMOVE/DISABLE SINGSTAR
Wow thanks for answering :) Actually I did the opposite, I checked the remove Singstar Icon in webman and it worked :)

The update pkg has a couple of more features added, only small, grab it if you want.

  • Fixed PSN pkg downloading, the links were URL encoded, and should not have been
  • Added a package manager xml to one of the patch folders, might be needed in rare circumstances.
  • Added OFW Font to the font installer
  • Added HEN coldboot to the coldboot installer
  • Small info text fix in the Firmware_Settings.xml

Thank you very much, now downloads are working great!!! Also thanks to the comments here by Itroublve Hacker the Singstar issue is fixed, it was a problem with webman mod :)

Not possible I'm afraid, can't even do this with CFW. Only supported for root of FAT32 drive unless someone writes a firmware from scratch but that's not gonna happen.

Hmmm, and what if the flag is changed from PSN packages to "hdd0/packages"? I was trying to find these routes in the .xml files, but I think it is harder than just write / change an .xml file

But the idea comes from the store. When several content is downloaded from the store, they will batch intall in the console, no FAT32 related or needed.

The FW would need to be patched at minimum. An XML won't cut it.

When you press SELECT+O in webMAN MOD, it unmounts the current game and redirects /app_home to /dev_hdd0/packages
This allows to use the Install All Packages (the option that shows when you press :but tri: on Standard Package Location)

Another option is to use the combo SELECT+O+R2 to install all files from /dev_hdd0/packages and delete them automatically.

A third option is to use the web command /remap.ps3 to redirect *any* path that is accessible by the file system (hdd0, hdd1, usb, sd, ms, cf, flash) to /app_home then use the option Install All Packages. e.g. /remap.ps3/app_home&to=/dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res

If you mount /net0/PKG as /dev_bdvd you can install all packages on a remote server.
