I installed hfw 4.89 I had these bugs I managed to use hen install/enabler on xploit website and it fixed all bugs after a restart and restore system File check.

Seems once I installed the hen and did that restore file system it fixed every single bug I had.

I had no issues with xmb since.

And Hen has been enabling without issue

No graphical errors or bugs with remote play and everything seems to be in its correct place.

MODEL: SUPERSLIM CECH 4202C

Note I installed hfw via the xmb and recovery menu before I did the steps above
 
As soon as I booted up my PS3 today Hen updated itself to the latest version. Is it worth updating to OFW/HFW 4.89 and then installing Hen again? What am I missing other than bugs?
 
Just updated to HFW 4.89.1. Now I tried to install HEN 3.1.0 via **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new). I tried the normal installer and also the alternate installer and I get the same error message with both; Exploit initialization failed!

I'm another who faced XMB glitches. Specifically, I noticed icon misalignment and broken scaling in the trophy list and some of the sub-menus in the games section like viewing memory cards.

Also, the PS3 splash screen is back to being the weird HEN icon, which I'm not a fan of. So for now I've reverted back to OFW, but I respect the effort that goes into this stuff.

The bug has been fixed in HEN 3.1.1 released today (2022/05/22).

Any ideas? still despair :(
 
Hi, hen 3.1.1 here, working fine, does anyone know if hen toolbox disabled can be fixed ? Or is it there a toolbox update somewhere ?
 
Sorry if this isn't a good place to ask, but I installed 4.89 HFW and HEN on my ps3, but I can't get HEN to enable. My ps3 either crashes or fails and reboots. I've tried more than 10 times. Any help is appreciated

i had this problem and it turned out to be a bad hard drive. you can put another one in to test (the new drive will be formatted by ps3). later you can put your original drive back and it will still work (act.dat may get deleted sometimes).
 
How can I update from 4.88.1 to 4.89.1 System update is locked out with the psxploit warning to stay on the firmware I have, go to safe mode and choose System Update from there and it hangs and gets stuck on the highlight of System update and doesn't progress any further! Never had this trouble before so am I missing something?

Why don't u use USB stick and from PS3 system update choose storage media to update it? Abouth safe mode issue dunno , make sure PS3 recognize storage media before accessing safe mode. Could be external storage issue ect
