HFW CFW mess (error 8002F957)

Hi everyone
I need help with a Slim ps3 (cech2004A)
I had successfully installed CFW on it some years ago following tutorials found here, I can't remember wich version it was on but I'm almost sure it was rebug lite. BD and BT were fine and I was able to load and run backups using webman. Then I left it unused for some (long) time. Some days ago I've tried to turn it on again but disk was broken. So I switched for a new empty and bigger disk and tried to install rebug lite again. So I took REBUG 4.86.1 LITE but i think i've followed a wrong guide to install it, and now i'm on HFW_4.84.2. I've tried to install rebug lite from recovery and from xmb but i keep getting the same error (8002F957). MD5 are fine, and I've tried different pendrives with no success. Could someone point out a thread with steps to follow to go back to CWF? Have I to start from scratch (install OFW, downgrade etc) ?

you lose jailbreak if you install OFW or HFW. use this guide to re-jailbreak.

You do need to start from scratch, but the good news is that its much easier and safer now than it was years ago. You do not need to downgrade anymore, you can just install patch it for CFW using ** ** www.ps3xploit.net > Domain no Longer owned by team** (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com) > Domain no Longer owned by team** (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com
