I own a BC CECHC04 PS3. Joined because I really wanna launch OSDSYS/full PS2 bios on my console through gxemu or netemu. I really want the full PS2 menu on my PS3.
I'm still working on it as well as getting softemu to work on newer firmware, atm i'm trying to get ManaGunZ working with rpcs3 so I can debug the ps2 emulation.
I've already done various tests in pcsx2 with the extracted & rebuilt ps2 bios of netemu & softemu, hopefully i'll have something ready before new year.

Dude ur a hero if u can get this thing to work, already saw the progress on the ps2 emulator mod thread and it's insane work. Just if u didn't already know, gxemu (Semi BC) has a feature where you can load the BIOS externally, there's notes about that feature on psdevwiki.
I already found a way to load the full PS1 bios here and you can launch the memory card manager if you eject a physical ps1 disc around the first part of the boot sequence. Just one thing to note, this is quite outdated now since Webman now has a feature to swap the ps1 bios without manually replacing the file on dev_flash.
Yeah there's alot of good info on those wiki's, i've been covering alot of old ground & peoples previous ps3 findings myself in an effort to get more familiar with it, alot of useful info is usually gatekeeped by the scence until there's no legal comeback or drama which is probably why it's not posted in the forums as much these days as significant new findings.
