Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a Japanese PlayStation Vita 2000 (Slim) in very good condition, and I would like to make absolutely sure that both the display and the outer shell are original Sony parts, not aftermarket replacements.
I already know the basic differences (LCD vs OLED, general build quality, etc.), but I am specifically looking for reliable, definitive ways to verify originality — ideally things that cannot easily be replicated by third-party parts.
For example:
I would really appreciate input from experienced Vita owners or repair specialists who have handled both original and aftermarket parts.
