How can I bypass Ps3 system update to 4.82

Good day. I'm fairly new to the Ps3 jailbreak scene. I'd like to make a secondary Psn account for HAN, but I get the system update message everytime I try to create a dummy account. Is there a way to bypass this? I've installed Sen Enabler but everytime I try to boot it up an error (an error occurred during the start operation (80010017) pops up. I'd appreciate any help & thanx in advance.

Um no.Han isnt a jailbreak,however it does offer half of what a jailbreak offers.Han is only a enhancement to ofw 4.82 that allows backups to be ran,but no unsighned code which is homebrew like sen enabler or any custom eboot.Han is more of a userland hack that has access to backups then what would be considered a real jailbreak.

4.82.2 rebug cfw would be a true jailbreak since it installs directly to the system os like a update.

Can't you use any Web browser to go to Sonys site and create a PSN account..??

But yeh, use your phone or PC to create a secondary PSN account.
Then to activate your system, you need to use the proxy method to login to PSN on 4.82, then activate.

Once this is all done, you won't really need to access PSN if using HAN. Proxy still works to play online etc, I just don't ever like using an exploited system online.

I've created a dummy account on psn as you mentioned. I don't understand how use Proxy to login. Is there a tutorial you can recommend @Fin9ersMcGee.

I have a slight idea now. So you're suggesting that I install 4.82.2 rebug cfw instead? I'm new to this whole ps3 scene please be patient with me.

You cant just install rebug on any ps3.You need to check your consoles model

You need to have a fat or a 2000 slim

A 2500 slim needs to be further analyzed since some are hackable and some arent

Then you have the 3000 and super slim which are unjailbreakable,so you install han on them.
 
After a while I finally figured it out. I've officially jailbroken my PS3, all thanks to guys. I appreciate your inputs, thank you very much. :cool2:
