You need to dump the disc to convert it to OFW. There is no rap to disc.

cfw2ofw is a disc backup method (and the game must have an update to go with it). it use lic.dat not rap files. raps are for psn pkg games

CFW2OFW is only useful for converting game disc file into pkg file which you don't need to load the disc or its iso file every time. However, this will take more storage than loading the iso file.

ISO can have a lot of EXTRAS, game updates, PS3 update, game guides... On CFW2OFW there is only the game. So, it doesn't appear to take more storage than ISO.
