Hello i would like to delete the license from a pkg game, i did it for save my account i use for buy content for not be banned but right now i am using that again so i would like to delete the license from the other user i made. I deleted from the exdata folder letting the original activated but all the time i enter in the game the license appear again. So how do i delete a license for ever for a specific user? the rap in hdd0/exdata should be deleted first so that it will not reactivate. then goto hdd0/home/000000xx/exdata and delete the rif. there may be more than one 000000xx folder. some 000000xx folders may not have a exdata folder under them. you will have to figure out which rif is the correct one.

I can't find the exdata folder in hdd0 only in home/000000xx, i deleted the rif again and it didn't appear again this time but i am sure it will appear after somehow.

Only other thing I could think is delete the user profile and all associated data either backup then delete or otherwise. The only other true sure fire way to deactivate a license is full system initialization, or otherwise a factory reset which should delete all users data and their licenses I would imagine. However this would probably be overkill and unnecessary to traverse that far into it but I like a clean slate if I want to be 100% sure any associated user data and whatnot are gone off the console.

The PS3 checks the license in all ALL user accounts.

If at least one .rif exists in another user account, the system will use that license.

You must delete the rif files stored in all /dev_hdd0/home/00000XXX/exdata (where XX = 000 to 999)

Ok then i have to delete the same rif from the other user too and then i have to activate it again only for the user i wish.

I thought "cancel purchase" did this, but I could be wrong. I think it's also a debug setting, which may or may not be on ofw or hen or anything other than rebug. I think it has a star next to it.

Sorry to resurrect the thread, but I have a similar problem. My exdata folder is completely full, a lot of rap files are now inaccessible. I can't put a new rap file inside either, it loads forever, in both webmann file manager and Filezilla. Should I try to delete the folder and put the rap files one by one again?

That's the problem of the infamous PKG with +15,000 raps. It not only takes a long time to install, it also makes impossible to access the folder exdata. It also will takes forever to delete the folder.

You could try renaming the folder, and forgetting about it since it doesn't use much space. Then create a new exdata.

Install only the raps for the games that you own and use. Not that pirate crap.
