PS3 How many rumble motors does a Dualshock 3 have?

I've opened a few controllers with rumble motors in the grips. You may be thinking of the large spinners connected to smaller ones iirc. I remember something like that. I think I'm thinking of the 360 controllers though, but it's technically one in each grip, because I think the spinners are all one part.

ps1, ps2, ps3,ps4, ogxbox and even xbox360 have only two rumble motors. on theese the are not any other rumble or "spinners" as you call them.

I mean there's a large spinner, then a smaller one attached to it from what I remember. they each go in these plastic groves of a 360 controller.

the silver, grooved part of it spins from what I remember based on the motor. that's what I was thinking of.

I see. I couldn't quite remember exactly what the rumble motors looked like. it's been ages since I've opened a 360 controller.
