And kozarovv showed something with IDA which is they have the SHA-1 hashes, yes, but they have 2 more known ones. So to replace the certificates, you first need to know what those other 2 things mean and replace them accordingly. esc0rtd3w, I asked him about the certificates replacer for HAN, what was it made for if it seems we can't replace certificates and he said it was in case anyone figured it out or in case it might help on that. But you really can't replace them (I already tried, anyways) - unless you find out what those 2 other things are...In latest firmwares (3.60 and later) Sony have started to hash their certificates with SHA-1 and these hashes are stored inside vsh.elf (/dev_flash/vsh/module/) and libssl.prx (/dev_flash/sys/external/)
no. it doesnt work like that.I have a crazy idea,
There is a way to bring my PS3 back to an earlier update, By doing a factory reset < Full format >!
That should restore the original firmware that came with the PS3
Do you think it will work?
Now my PS3 is CFW 3.55, Same problemI can't answer about the traffic part nor too advanced stuff, but there's one thing I know: you can't replace the certificates on the PS3. I've tried, and esc0rtd3w and kozarovv confirmed that you can't after I asked both. See this: https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/Online_Connections#Certificates. At the end of the table, there's this:

I'll click on Watch Thread, in case anyone gets to somewhere... Would be cool to 3 things I wanted to do and they both need me to replace at least one certificate.
EDIT: The link you have there is about FW 3.55, so what I said is supposing you're not using that old FW and yes a newer one (in this case, at minimum 4.XX).
Not sure what might be the problem then. Also, possibly you should create a thread with that in mind, like "How to swap PS3 CA certificates on FW 3.55?", so more people could be interested. Anyways, being you on 3.55, if you still can't replace the certificates, no idea what's the problem then. Now my PS3 is CFW 3.55, Same problem![]()
Also, what README.txt is that thing talking about? The CA24.cer is mentioned on one of the sites (at least one) that I found, but it has asterisks there and I can't understand the conversation. That Readme might help a bit. If you wish, can you share where you got it?
