PS3 How to get more speed on FTP?

Hello. I have a question. When I copy games from my pc to my PS3, filezilla shows speed like ~900KiB/s. I learned to live with it but if I can speed things up that would be appreciated. My PC is connected to my router (Huawei B818) via Cat 5e cable (I think) and my PS3 is connected to the router via WiFi. And now, is it possible to speed it up using the current setup and it's just a matter of some settings? Or should I rather connect my PS3 to the router via cable? Unfortunately connecting PC to the PS3 directly is rather impossible.

Thanks in advance

One thing to consider is that over FTP, many small files will take considerably longer than one larger file. Depending on the file structure, times will vary wildly. I would expect to get around 10 to 15 MB/s speed on large files. Smaller files you will see KB speeds or less.

you definitely should convert folder games to iso as a result. you'll get very fast speeds as a result. you get shitty speeds via wifi, like 2MBs, in a lot of cases. it's a limitation. I know that I get about 15-18MBs/s wirelessly with the series x, so it's just a limit of the technology probably.

Only downside to ISO, in my opinion, is its easier to mod games that are in folder format. If not modding, then ISO probably better.

afaik, the open and close nature of ftp is what causes a lot of failures with ftp. I'd then suggest copying to an exfat hdd. I've never done this nor know what's involved, if anything, but it should allow those larger games to work unless you have to put them on the internal hdd, which is a possibility. I'm still coming from the pita days of mm, where some games needed to be on internal or have a disc in the system.
