PS5 How to get PS5 Media Player without updating?

Now that a PS5 JB appears to be imminent, I'm looking forward to finally actually using the PS5 I got a few months back when Sony emailed customers to allow them to buy one at retail price. I've only powered it up a couple times since I got it, didn't want to really do much with it and definitely not update it, in case an exploit came.

But today I decided to try out the Media Player, and it won't even let me do that without updating. Does the Media Player not come pre-installed and require downloading from PSN or something? On PS4 I could still get to the store etc. even if not updated, but not PS5? I'm now wondering if I'll be SOL and not have a Media Player since I'll be JBd and not able to go online. Is there a way to install it without going to PSN?

If you already have experience with other S@ny consoles, you should know that you cannot install applications externally without jailbreak, both PS3 and PS4 patched applications to use them without logging in to PSN, it can probably be done in the future On PS5, it would only be necessary to see the speed at which that Scene can take off, at the moment the fruits are very green there.

OK, so I needed to have installed the Media Player originally when I got the PS5. Bummer, I didn't realize those apps weren't pre-installed. Oh well it's not essential, I'll just wait to see what the JB brings. Good times!!
