PS3HEN How to install Linux on my 4.87 HFW PS3HEN console?

I want to install Linux, but i don't know how, i am newbie and i won't broke anything... I want know basics of installing Linux on PS3, i have linux on my PC, but i don't know what difference is between HFW, CFW and OFW. Please, help me. And i have PS3 Slim, i dont know my console is supported with installing linux.

HFW = OFW that can run HEN.
You cannot install Linux with HEN.
Currently you must use CFW to run Linux.

To check whether your slim console is CFW compatible & if compatible, to jailbreak it, you can use the PS3 Toolset's Flash Memory Manager.
The Flash Memory Manager supports OFW 4.82 to 4.86. Support for 4.87 is pending.
If you already updated to OFW/HFW 4.87, you will have to wait until 4.87 CFWs are released before you can jailbreak your console.
