Hello all,
I have been trying to figure out how to solve the issue of playing PS2 European games using OPL in color without it displaying black and white color. What's weird is that after adjusting the Video Mode in the "Display settings" within OPL from NTSC to Pal, then vice versa and going back to Games List to finally exiting out to restart OPL to see if my attempt made a difference I was somehow able to play Police 24/7 in color after messing with those settings, while also perhaps holding a few buttons while the game was starting up.
However, after pressing Start+Select+R1+R2+L1+L2 buttons to return to the Browser memory card menu, so that I could return back to OPL and try out another game. It went back to being in black and white.
The problem is I'm not sure what I did to make turn the pal games into color. I have been trying to figure it out by replicating the settings I adjusted or by pushing random buttons during the start of the game, but I have had no luck so far. If anyone knows a solution to this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
I am using a NTSC-UC Console, 2TB sata ssd along with Grimdoomer's OPL v1.2.0.6-1996-Beta build. I also added akilluminati47's OPL theme (Master_remix).
