PS3HEN How to reassign controller mapping ?

Hi,
I have a ps3 superslim with hen, I was playing god of war 1 and the r2 button mashing is getting out of hand for me .The r2 button is like a trigger ,can't help it.

Is there anyway I can remap to the R2 button to R1 button.

Remapping R2 to for instance L2 implies that L2 is not already used for something else which is extremely rarely the case in games or apps. Same thing goes for all other pad buttons at the end of the day.

In my humble opinion you should focus on fixing your game pad (or acquiring a replacement), you need that button to be functional for far too many things, without it the system is crippled & playing most games becomes either problematic or impossible so it makes no sense to start reassigning buttons or patching games..
